Hard bumps on radix after rhinoplasty (photo)

This is likely swelling if you had this area reduced.  Or, if this is a radix graft, you may be feeling the edges.  Either way, you should let things settle for a few months.  It will likely get better.  Good luck!

If these bumps represent bone, the area may need to be rasped down.  You do not necessarily have to wait too long to get it revised if this is indicated.  If it is soft tissue swelling, taping can sometimes help it resolve sooner.  

Bumps on the upper part of the nose are usually related to incomplete osteotomies.  They do not resolve with time on their own and typically need a revision osteotomy in the area.RegardsDr. J

It really is a bit too early to tell whether this is going to be a problem for you in the long term. I would suggest you wait for at least three months before judging this and your surgeon should then be able to tell you what has caused the bumps and what solutions are appropriate.

If you can press the bumps smooth with pressure your surgeon might be right. If the bone cut or osteotomy in incomplete there might also be a greenstick effect and the bump could keep coming back. Follow your surgeons advice, though a revision to complete the fracture could be needed.

It could represent swelling or bony or even a cartilage graft if your radix was built up. Hard to say without more information.

Still need to allow healing fir the next 6 months. Than decide if revision would be necessary...........

It is very hard to say without knowing what was actually done during your surgery.  You can expect some swelling to still be around 1 month post-op.  Your surgeon is your best source so keep keep close follow up with him or her.  

It looks like you may have had osteotomies done on your nasal bone which would result in swelling of those areas.  Since it's only been 4 weeks, I think there may still be some swelling.  Everyone swells to a different degree but generally, the nose can change and reduce in swelling for up to a year or so.  I recommend that you continue to follow up with your surgeon.  Hope this helps!
