It is uncommon to undergo rhinoplasty with an experienced rhinoplasty surgeon and have the same appearance as before, so if you choose someone qualified, there should be a nice improvement. The bump can certainly be taken down and tip should be able to be thinned some. It appears that your skin may be a bit thick so that may keep it from being too thin, but a natural result should be what you are striving for.

No one can guarantee a successful result from any surgery. The nose has many moving parts. However, the vast majority of patients who have revision rhinoplasty are happy with their results. Unhappy patients tend to be more verbal and post more. A lot is about expectations on how much your nose can be improved. Since it's a very complex area you should see an expert in revision rhinoplasty.

Revision rhinoplasty odds are very hard to get cleared.  Overall the success rate is around 80%.This is in the best of hands.You'll also have to manage expectations and understand that a perfect nose cannot be obtained.  As long as you define success as significant improvement in the bulbous tip and reduction of the dorsal hump then you will have a nice outcome.New para of regardsDr. J

I tell patients that with each revision surgery, there is a decreased ability to make the nose “perfect” because of surgical manipulations, grafting and scarring from previous procedures. That being said, it IS ABSOLUTELY possible to get a great revision rhinoplasty result. I recommend that you really take time looking carefully at your nose and deciding which are the things that are bothering your eye the most, and while trying to address everything, agree with your surgeon to really focus on two or three things that are MAJOR issues for you. Some of the irregularities that you see in the mirror and in person may not come through with the photos due to the flash of the camera washing them out, so obviously, there is no substitute for in-person consultation with a board certified surgeon with extensive experience in revision rhinoplasty. 

A revision rhinoplasty is harder than a primary rhinoplasty, so  it is important to choose your surgeon very wisely based on extensive experience. Even  the most experienced rhinoplasty surgeons in the country have a 10-15% touch up rate. Its  important to have realistic expectations, and then look for a surgeon who has dedicated a significant component of their practice to the discipline of rhinoplasty.

Ru2013, hard to tell with photos but it appears you are L sided dominant which is part of what you are seeing. Anyway, the odds go up with the experience of the surgeon so choose a specialist with decades of experience and good photos. Search the Internet! Good luck!
