Is getting pregnant 2 1/2 months after BBL an issue?

Question

I had a BBL done in August 2017 I found out I was 4 weeks pregnant in December. I am currently 9 weeks, should I be concerned? Will this affect me in any way? I don’t care about the change in my body I just want a healthy pregnancy.

No issue.  The effects of liposuction on the skin are variable based upon the elasticity of the skin. The fat that is redistributed with a BBL will permanently create a favorable redistribution even with pregnancy.  The fat transferred to the butt will be affected by the total body fat percentage, and the buttock will likely get larger with pregnancy and decrease in size with weight loss.  Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA
