It's been a little over a year since my breast-reduction and tummy tuck (no lipo, no implants). I could not be more pleased! I never thought I would be wearing a 2 piece ever again but I am. Dr. Z did has my full trust and he did such a great job I'm getting my next procedure in a few months.Dr Z definitely has a gift. Thank you so much for the confidence!
I've wanted implants since I was 16 and realized that they stopped growing. I am 36 now, I'm done with breastfeeding and what not of parenthood. Today was my augmentation surgery. I chose a doctor and practice that had great customer service and follow through. I am hoping to land in a D or DD. I was extremely apprehensive and anxious today. The surgical team was very reassuring that I will love them and I am in good hands. I'm out now from surgery for about 10 hours now. My husband has been helping me all day and I'm so appreciative because there is so much I can't do right now. It feels like a super tight bandage or ace band across my chest. On a scale of 1-10 the pain this morning was a 7 and now I'd say it's about a 5. They are high and squared. Crossing my fingers for a great outcome! Updated on 15 Nov 2020: I asked to avoid hydrocodone as my pain management because it completely messes me up internally. I had a c section and when taking that drug it literally made food rot in my stomach. I was prescribed tramadol, but it was just barely cutting the pain. I got permission to add Tylenol on top of the muscle relaxer and tramadol which is not managing the pain well. Everything is still very high and tight. Updated on 15 Nov 2020: Updated on 16 Nov 2020: I had my surgery on November 13, 2020 but for some reason RealSelf won’t let me correct the date. It’s been 4 days since surgery. I have much better range of motion in arms without pain. Boobs are still high and swollen. I fight with the surgical bra constantly because it’s all the way into my armpit, too tight and hurting, or the strap is hurting. I generally hate this thing and my doc wants me to wear it for 3 weeks. I’m sticking to it though because I trust his judgment. Pain is manageable. I still feel a lot of pressure and wonder about these things popping out of my chest somehow, though I know that’s irrational... it’s just so tight. Boobs are starting to itch. My sleep hours are irregular because I’m on the couch recliner. It’s easier to get up and down without needing assistance. Updated on 21 Nov 2020: I am cleared to lift my arms and start massaging to help release and prevent capsular contraction. I can also sleep on my back now. Boobs are still high and tight. Hopefully the massages will start helping. Updated on 21 Nov 2020: I wanted to focus on my experience with Dr. Z and his staff. When looking for a doctor to do the procedure, HZ stuck out to me be as of the amount of respect given to each member of his staff. It wasn’t just the guy doctor standing in front of his bevy of beautiful nurses. Each staff member is showcased really, which tells me he thinks they are equally important, not just him. He promotes from within, that indicates to me that he invests in his employees. The phones are answered quickly. The staff is informed. As you can see, I am looking for a well oiled machine, because I need every hand or whomever will be working with me to not be clouded by a bad boss, jerk co-worker, or some other office Semantic that may distract from my need. I am getting my breast cut open after all... Dr. Z is calm and intelligent. I enjoyed his humor and respect for me feeling so out of place while topless in a room and people I just met looking at me partially naked. The staff put me at ease. Dr. Z heard all my thoughts and provided his opinions. I booked my surgery before leaving. At pre-op, I have the pleasure of meeting his Physician’s Assistant Kelsea. This wonderful lady gracefully and with humanitarian kindness, answered every single question I had, whether it was through email or in the office. I greatly appreciate how caring and through Kelsea was in getting me through the surgery as even after. I’d say I was needier after the surgery. LOL I never felt like a burden though I apologized profusely during the first week after the surgery when I lost my shit. Somewhere between having t-Rex arms, a compression bra, sleeping in a recliner, and pain... I lost my normally composed disposition over the compression bra. Let me tell you, that thing will test your resolve, but after 5 days or so the pain subsides and it’s no biggie. Yet, Kelsea calmly explained and understood, sought to provide remedy if possible. At this point I am a week post op. They gave me this adorable little gift bag after my appointment. I am just wholly satisfied by the care and wonderful treatment of everyone in their team. Everything is organized and flows incredibly well. Thank you HZ Plastic Surgery team. ???? Updated on 26 Nov 2020: Looking as expected, sitting high still but they are loosening up. I am doing my massages 3 times a day and taking the allergy med prescribed. The implant is moving much better than when I started massaging. I don’t feel as though they have dropped any but it’s only two weeks out and that’s normal. I have no pain and the incision tenderness is going away as well unless the compression bra sits on it. I don’t love how they look like balloons stuck on still and waiting for the drop and more natural look. I do like the size too. One more week of the compression bra!! Updated on 27 Nov 2020: Woot woot!!! Updated on 4 Dec 2020: Nothing major to report. Breasts are softening, thankfully. I see some very minor dropping. I am doing my massages twice and and taking the allergy medicine prescribed to help prevent capsular contracture. I also graduated out of the compression bra and strap! Yay!!! Updated on 11 Dec 2020: Updated on 13 Dec 2020: I am a month out now! Some days they feel squishy but firm, other days they just feel firm. I massage them twice a day as prescribed. I can do cardio but.... I got a tattoo so now I have to wait another week. Lol it was so close! I am still looking forward to the drop and fluff where some of the volume transfers to the lower pole. Updated on 18 Dec 2020: Updated on 19 Dec 2020: They are still relatively firm but I feel like they are starting to look more natural. I see so many people rush to go get measurements but honestly I haven’t. I measure 30 in band and 36 bust which is a 30DDD. It hard to wrap my mind around that number. With the pandemic I can’t just go to a store to try on bras. I signed up for Adore me and for the first time in my life, I am excited to try on bras. My entire life I have avoided lingerie and buying nice bra because it was such a sore spot in my life. I’m excited to see my husbands response. Looking forward to more dropping and fluffing! 6 week mile mark coming up. Updated on 22 Dec 2020: Updated on 29 Dec 2020: Everything is coming along well. I had my 6 week check up and my righty needs to drop more so I am told to do more massages. I am continuing with those twice a day for 3 months along with zafirlukast. I am released for active duty! Woot woot!! I finally got an actual bra and I am a 30DDD which is amazing. It is funny though, when I think a DDD I think massive boobs. I don’t think I have massive boobs. They are great and wonderfully proportioned to me but not what I emvisioned a DDD to be. That’s ok! I’m not complaining. I’d much rather had what I have now than what I had before or some ridiculous balloon boobs. I would like to see the torpedo shape soften a bit more, which I am sure will come in time. There is no pain, I am free to work off 2020 weight gain again, and my husband loves them. I’m happy. Updated on 14 Jan 2021: I’m happy to report squishy boobs that are settling nicely. I don’t regret the decision one second. I adore the staff at HZ plastic surgery. I love the results, the confidence, and the extra pizzazz my relationship has now.
Dr. Z and the entire staff were absolutely amazing during the process of my tummy tuck. They helped melt away any fears of going into this procedure and were always very prompt on answering any questions after the procedure was done.
There are not enough words to describe the amazing experience that I had with Dr. Z and his team. I went to 5 consultations with plastic surgeons in the area that were on the top plastic surgeons of Orlando list. I was extremely disappointed. One of the “top” plastic surgeons even yawned the entire time during my consultation. I almost gave up my search until I landed on Dr. Z’s page. I did my research and scheduled a consultation. He made my feel extremely comfortable and truly listened to my concerns. He was honest and told me what was realistic. I knew that he was the plastic surgeon that I had been searching for. I was nervous the day of surgery, but Angela, the nurse and Dr. Z put my mind at ease. The whole team was just amazing and so reassuring. The results are breathtaking!!! I never expected my breasts to look this perfect. My breast exceeded my expectations. Wow...just wow.. I owe Dr. Z and his team my eternal gratitude.
I trusted Dr Z since he had done facelifts for two of my friends ... and each was absolute perfection. But trusting your FACE to anyone is scary. What I will say is: He listens. And understands. And has an aesthetic eye. He is an engineering wizard and an absolute artist ... took decades off my face and neck without making me look "different" (other than just turning back the clock ... which is what I wanted). At one year post op, I am ecstatic... and I was since day 1. Have trusted him subsequently, to tweak other gravity-stricken casualties of aging... I don't think there is anything he can't do. Every procedure I've had him do, he has done better than what I'd hoped for. Whatever nips & tucks / lifts I wanted, I'd go to Dr. Z for. Updated on 30 Jun 2020: Lower face and neck lift .. Under local anesthesia. Dr. Z is SO good at what he does ... and his incisions were done in such a way as to be invisible by about three months post op. Couldn’t be happier! Age 65. Updated on 27 Jul 2020: Incisions one year after the procedure are virtually unnoticeable... they go all the way around the ear (front and back) and into the hairline at the back of my head... and they go up the temple from my ear in the hairline to about the level of the corner of my eye. I wear my hair back / or up, alot.
The moment I walked into Dr Z’s office, I knew I found what I was searching for. Everyone was approachable, caring and a wealth of valuable information. The very first person I met was Dr Z himself, we spent time getting to know each other and what we both expected. He heard me. He listened to me. He sealed the deal for me by just being an amazing approachable doctor who wanted what was best for me! Surgery Day and Post Op—all I can say is WOW!! Thank you Thank you Thank you Dr Z and Angela you are both truly amazing!! You have changed my life!
Hi my name is Jorge. Dr. Z did a face lift on me, and I got to tell you, I love it. I’m so glad he did it. He’s an extraordinary doctor. I am 58 years old and everybody was guessing that I was 65. Now everybody tells me I look 50. I feel like a went through the time machine. Plus, he always tells you the truth. Thank you Dr. Z for everything you have done for me. Like I said before, you are an incredible doctor.
I love HZ & especially their membership program for busy moms. That way I can put the money in the account without having to think about budgeting, it’s just there when I need it. The DR Listens Attentively, To my questions. I haven’t had my surgery yet, But I love the team at HZ. They Offer exceptional customer service.
After several disppointing consultations, I contacted HZ Plastic Surgery to schedule a consultation and I’m so glad I did. Every step along the way, Dr. Z and his staff have not only been very informative and helpful, but they have just been so pleasant. During my consultation Dr. Z personally conversed with me longer than any other doctor did that I had met with. He was not only knowledgeable, but he was personable. And, what can I say about Frances, his patient care coordinator, she is just so wonderful to work with. I’m smiling every time I’m at their office. Another deciding factor for me was seeing that Dr. Z not only stays current with his surgical methods but also with his social media presence. It was such a benefit to see the results of other patients as a reference but also a way to build a personal report with HZ Plastic Surgery. The costs for his services are very reasonable and never did I feel like I was being sold something (as I did after my other consultations). I’m almost 3 weeks post opp from my breast augmentation/mastopexy and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I also got lip fillers done by Michelle and they look so natural and beatiful. My confidence is way up. I’m looking forward to my 5 week post opp!
Hello again, It has been almost 4 years since my last surgery and I’m not happy to say I find myself here again. Is not all bad news, I had a few hospital visits and I was put on steroids for a while so I gained some weight. A year ago I did a diet plan and changed my life. I lost 30lbs! Now it’s time to sculpt my new body and I am exited! My last doctor left some fat in my body and told me he couldn’t take out more because he “ran out of time”. Anyway I am older a wiser now! I’m going to what seems like a fantastic doctor at HZ Plastic Surgery. I went for a consult to see if I needed a tummy tuck. Dr. Z was so nice. When he saw my body he smiled and said, “ma’am all you need is a little liposuction. I don’t see any reason for a tummy tuck.” He told me that though I was working out and in good shape, he could assist me with the pouch I had and give me a sexier waistline. He had me at waistline! I had seen his work and loved how meticulous he seemed with making sure his tummy tuck patients had beautiful belly buttons. Apparently he was into architecture before this so I figured he would take pride is shaping my body nicely. I was still on the fence about doing this again but what sealed the deal was when I called a few days later to ask a question to the nurse. The doctor himself took my call! He was patient and answered every single one of my MANY questions. That was it! The deal was done. Now I’m scheduled for my liposuction on my back roll, flanks, upper and lower abdomen. The patient coordinator is so very kind and is always and I mean always willing to help you. So far so good. I have surgery this weekend! I will keep you guys posted. Updated on 10 Mar 2019: I didn’t surgery on Saturday March 9 and I must say it was a whole lot different from my last time around with another doctor. Let me just declare the last time I did surgery I was under general anesthesia so I went in and woke up not having a clue what transpired..... this time around y doctor and I decided to do the local anesthesia. Here’s my day of operation: - I got there a few minutes late because I insisted on driving with the patch I had gotten from the pharmacy to our behind my ear. Needless to say I was a bit off kilter and passed my exit! Therefore making me almost 30 minutes late yikes! - wen I got there Francis, always looking so beautiful greeted with a smile and walked us into the pre-op room. She provided the materials for me to wear (a disposable panty, disposable braish thing, compression socks, some warm Blue colored socks and a comfortable robe. - once I put that on it was time to do the markings. Doctor Z came in a calmly went over my areas and drew large and small circles around my areas that he planned to work on. He is very meticulous and I LOVED that. I felt save like I was in good ands. - After that it was time for my meds. I took all my oral medications to calm me down and she also inserted the needle for my I.V. Then it was time wait, and wait some more for the meds to kick in. Once it did. I had to say goodbye to the person I brought with me. -once in the operating theater, Francis scrubbed my belly, flanks and bra roll area. Then lay me on the “table” I’m or sure if it’s called that or. Weird shaped bed, but hey I laid on it. They gave me more meds. - Dr. Z came in talked to me for a it and told me getting the anesthesia in these areas would cause some discomfort.... people!!! When doctors say that, it mean it’s on a hurt! Though he did his best to try to minimize the “discomfort” I wont lie to you that process hurt!!!!! Why? Because he had to stick the needle in what felt like every inch of every area to numb it. Truth is once you’re on that table it pretty much makes no sense to stop . So you just have to bear it. After what felt like 20 minutes of sticking and pushing by this huge needle. All my areas were nice and numb! Yay! ???? - was in and out of consciousness so I have no real recollection of anything. I just remember waking to seeing him really working are on my hip and waist. My sister said he was sweating from all the work he had to do on me. - poor guy, apparently my lay doctor didn’t do a good job because in addition to me having thick skin, he has a HUGE amount of scared tissue to get through before he could star my liposuction!!! Ouch! He didn’t say anything bad about my last doctor but I cold see he wasn’t pleased with what he was seeing underneath my skin. - the next thing I know I’m barley standing and my nurse is telling me to wake up and doing her best to keep me standing. - I was wheeled out to the car in a wheelchair. I don’t remember the drive home or getting in the house. I remembered laying in bed and opened my eye to see my boyfriend standing there holding my hand. - I have been loopy for about 40 hours now so this is the first time I’m able to write about my experience. It day 1 (I count the op day as zero) and I and in pain with much stiffness. I need help to go to bathroom as I can’t walk upright on my own. I need help for EVERYTHING! I don’t want to move an inch because I am so sore!!!! Anyone who said this does hurt is lying ???? Do yourself a favor and take 4 days off work before you something as drastic as vaser liposuction on multiple areas. I can’t lay down on anywhere because I did my whole midsection and upper back md some of my hips. You will get through it, just make sure you have someone to help you for a few days. - according to my sister (I was too loopy to be told this) Dr. Z said I’m going to look ???? AMAZING ???????????? I will power through this discomfort. I’m still draining lots of fluid. I had to wear a undershirt then a belly wrap with a board on the front, my garment or faja and adult pads by the brand TENA . Have to wear this for 4 days without showering (eeewwwwww) But he says it’s the best way to get all the fluids and minimize swelling. This is about to be a LONG 4 days for a clean freak like me. I will update you come Day 4. Take care ladies! Updated on 14 Mar 2019: Left another review on the surgeon I also anted to do one here because staff at HZ Plastic Surgery is second to none! I did lipo before about 3 years before I decided to do it again. Frances is the NICEST person you will ever meet! The front desk ladies are also so warm and kind. I enjoyed my consultation and the pre-op experience. Dr. Z ring so very to me also pushed my decision to go with the facility. I was treated so well throughout my surgery. Though mine was way tougher for him because I had so much scar tissue that he Had to fight through. My sister said he was sweaty when he came out because of how are he had to be working. He stuck through it and NEVER made me feel like a burden or a number. When I came to Frances as right there with her beautiful smile ????. It was god to see a kind face after going through surgery. They are my sister instructions and sent m home. I couldn’t bathe???? for 4 days! OMG that was the most difficult thing I had to do! You lol stink and by day 3 you will be mad at The world ???? but come Day 4 when you me that bath ???? The feeling of relief is so good . I just had my bath, put on my arnica cream, took all my pills and are going to sleep. Make sure you have help for at least 5days because you will need it! I did liposuction in 4 areas; upper and lower abdomen, bra roll, and side flanks. I also went with two garments. One is currently soaking and the other is on me. It’s expensive but the convenience is worth it. I’m very excited for my follow up the weekend. If yo are on the fence I say jump feet first into this facility. They won’t let o down and Dr.z has hands ???? of the Gods!!! He is meticulous and very detailed. He takes his time with you and take real pride in his work. He wants the best results for all is clients and will be honest with you . Try them out! You won’t regret it! They are amazing! Updated on 2 Nov 2019: Hey everyone! I am so happy with my results! My healing process is going really really well! I’m about 85% healed and loving it! Dr. Z truly does give you a waistline, I was kind of straight and now I have curves!!!! I put on about 8lbs due to sheer indiscipline with my diet due to work schedules and at my 5th month I promise DR.Z I would lose it all. Before you guys ask, no I did not put on any weir in my belly at all it remained flat. I just got bigger in my arms and legs. I suggest maintaining a good diet while you heal as your body May try to compensate for the fat that has been removed. I am scheduled to see hm any day now and Guess what? I lost 12lbs! He will be surprised when he sees my progress. I do suffer from some bloating and swelling by the evening time but that is just normal healing stuff. I still get my massages every two weeks as I do have a few hard spots on my lower abdomen. He had to do a lot of work there so I don’t mind. I stopped wearing the trainers after the 5th month because when I would it would case swelling and more hard spots. My only concern is not getting keloids at my scar areas. I may need some recommendations on what to do because I see them coming in. I am sexy and loving it ! I am also back in the gym! I feel great and I look amazing! Dr. Z comes highly recommended from me!!!!
Even though all symptoms should be taken seriously, in your case there no reason to be overly concerned. The onset of ALCL is usually delayed, and often years after the initial procedure. During your next post-op visit I would address these issues with your surgeon. Good luck! Harun Zekirovski, DO Orlando based Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Since it has only been 7-8 weeks I would still try to be patient. It can take up to 3-6 months for the implants to drop and could potentially fill out the lower pole of the breast. From the pics, it does look like the nipple/areola should be positioned higher, but I wouldn't do any revisions until at least 6 months post-operatively. Continue with the breast massages. Good luck! Harun Zekirovski, DO Orlando based Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
It is unlikely that you've caused significant damage to your implants by sleeping on them in any position, especially since your surgery was years ago. More significant force is usually required to cause significant damage. If the soreness does not go away after couple of weeks, then I would consider an evaluation. Good luck! Harun Zekirovski, DO Orlando based Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
The swelling of the mons pubis after a tummy tuck is normal, especially if this areas was liposuctioned during the procedure. Drainage from the incision can also be normal, but usually should not be excessive. A seroma is possible, but this should only be assessed by your surgeon. I would communicate your concerns with your PS and potentially try to see them sooner rather then later. Good luck! Harun Zekirovski, DO Orlando based Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
This is not unusual. It takes time for the implants to drop and sometimes they will drop at different times. I wouldn't be worried about it at this point since is still early. If at 6 months you are having the same issues, I would address it with your surgeon. Continue with the breast massage because this could potentially help. Good luck Harun Zekirovski, DO Orlando based Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
