I am 7 weeks post BA with 385cc HP silicone implants. My left breast aches a little all the time but the right one doesn't. The Dr did tell me he had to do a little more work for the left breast because of asymmetry prior to surgery. I am just worried if this is normal?

Answer: Postoperative aches normal? Hello emmi87.I appreciate your question very much. It is normal to have occasional aches and pains after breast surgery. The final result with breast implants occurs at 1 year and right now you're only 7 weeks after surgery or about 14% of the healing time has passed. As you continue to drop and fluff and the tissues stretch occasional aches can be expected. I think you should speak to your plastic surgeon, have an examination, and ask if using acetominophen or other mild pain reliever is appropriate.Good luck, Dr. ALDO
