My face is really asymmetrical and I just want to know what it might stem from and how I can fix it. My jaw is completely different from the right and left side. The angle of my jaw bone on the right side is almost an inch longer than on the left. nose also looks completely different on my right and my right eye is bigger. My right ear is also bigger and comes to a weird point at the top. Just seeking answers and guidance - thanks. Oh and also my masseter on my right side feels extra hard?
Answer: Facial asymmetries are normal Hello, The first thing to mention is that basically everyone's face is asymmetric. If you put a mirror on one side of someone's face or use an app to duplicate one side, nearly everyone looks like two different people. I would say you don't have a large degree of asymmetry, I had to review your pictures a number of times to notice it. That being said, you could consider filler injection with something like vollux to even out your jaw-lines, or consider botox injection into the masseter muscles. A more aggressive option would be to see a craniofacial surgeon and have a 3D CT scan done of your face to look for skeletal differences and these could either be surgically improved or masked. Hope this helps-Dr. Halka

Answer: Asymmetrical Jaw, Eyes and Nose In most cases, an asymmetrical face doesn't need any treatment or medical intervention.Muscles of one side of the face may be weaker than the other if the face isn't well aligned. They can make the smile uneven. Facial workouts can restore balance to the tissues on the face and contribute to an asymmetrical face. Moreover, they will help to control the muscles. If you're concerned about asymmetrical features on your face, there are some cosmetic surgery procedures you may consider. Correction may require moving bone (osteotomy), adding bone (bone graft), adding a facial implant (alloplastic implant), reducing bone, adding soft tissue, or reducing soft tissue (through liposuction) to create a more symmetrical result. Fat grafting may also be helpful in improving soft tissue results.

Answer: Asymmetry We are all asymmetrical to some degree and you certainly fall within a normal range. Fillers and Botox can be used to help improve facial asymmetry. Botox can be used to improve uneven masseters as well as brow position. Fillers can improve volume discrepancies. I encourage you to visit with an expert injector near you to learn more.

Answer: Facial Slimming — Masseter Botox, Facetite/Renuvion J Plasma, Buccal Fat Pad Removal, Fillers to sculpt the Cheek/Jawline/Chin This is my expertise and a huge portion of my practice. Asymmetry is normal and expected. Buccal fat pad gives slimming not symmetry. Masseter botox will make you slimmer and make the jawline more loose. Fillers help give shaping and contouring. If you want perfect or close to perfect symmetry you need maxillofacial surgery or implants customized. I suggest seeing an expert to go through all options. Most of my younger clients use fillers to give them shaping especially on the cheeks, jawline, and chin which make the face look more slim and tight; and threads such as PDO or Instalift can build collagen and support the facial shaping and skin looseness over time, slowing down the aging process and given the face a more “snatched” look; and morpheus8 or PiXel8 deep microneedling RF can tighten crepe skin especially on the neck and jawline and is great for long term tightening of the full face, neck and chest; its often used to give the face a slimmer more sculpted look because it tightens the skin and gives lift. an early face lift can be performed as well even in younger clients if they want a different facial shape, maxillofacial surgery with bone breaking or shaving can also be done. For facial slimming a combination of treatments are always needed. Options include: 1. Buccal fat pad removal to reduce fat on the lower face 2. Factite or Renuvion/J Plasma to tighten the lower face, jawline, and chin to reduce fat and give the jawline and neck tightening and shaping. 3. Botox to the masseter to reduce the muscular size of the jaw giving the face an illusion of being more slender 4. Fillers to the jawline, chin, cheeks, temples and brow help to shape the face and make it more angled and defined Always use at home derma rolling (see link to Emerageskin x anteageMD roller plus stem cells/hyaluronic acid ampules) and peels like emeragecosmetics enlighten or aerify that can be used to improve skin quality and tighten the skin while improving wrinkles, pigmentation, acne, and Melasma. See an expert who does facial shaping with surgical and non surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Facial asymmetries First of all, you have beautiful features and Facial asymmetry is relatively common, as most people have some degree of natural asymmetry in their facial features. I would personally just do filler injections and Botox. In good hands, it could treat those irregularities. I hope this helps, best of luck !
