I’m interested in getting dermal filler in the crease between my bottom lip and chin (the mentallis crease). I’ve done research and found a practioner who looks as though they would be able to do a good job of it. However, I have read a couple of comments online saying it can be dangerous to inject filler in this area but I cannot find any reason for why it would be particularly dangerous. Can any doctors advise me on if this is a dangerous area to inject?

Dark pigmentation that is melanin-based will respond to topical creams. Lasers and dermal fillers may not necessarily improve the pigmentation. I would recommend Melarase+ twice daily but do not get it into the eyes.
