Hi, where is under eye filler injected if a patient has had cheek implants? I've recently had circles appear under my eyes, along with tear trough hollows,. I've read that filler in this location is injected under the muscle. But is that a problem when there are already cheek implants under the muscle? I had cheek implant surgery five years ago. I'm 42, female.

Thank you for your question and photos. Dermal fillers are an ideal treatment for reducing the appearance of smile lines, or nasolabial folds. These hyaluronic acid formulas restore volume to smooth lines and promote a more youthful appearance. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation...
We have used filler almost anywhere on the face and have had no issues with a little filler in the area that you described. Filler also activates your own collagen to help with this region. We hope this helped with your question.Dolores Kent, M.D.
Dark pigmentation that is melanin-based will respond to topical creams. Lasers and dermal fillers may not necessarily improve the pigmentation. I would recommend Melarase+ twice daily but do not get it into the eyes.
