I'm invited to a botox party when I asked who was the Dr. She said the nurses name. Didn't tell me where she's from. I looked up the name and could not find any information. She said she was highly recommended. I just want to know what we're your experiences like. No I'm not going. I don't feel comfortable.
Answer: How Safe Are Botox and Filler Parties? Don’t Allow Nonprofessionals to Inject Fillers and Botox at Parties Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, and dermal fillers are all administered by injection — a medical procedure. This should always be done by a medical professional in a medical setting and with proper precautions. If you and your friends want to arrange a “party” at the dermatologist’s office — meaning that you all book appointments at around the same time slot — that would be a safe alternative. Then afterward, you could go celebrate your rejuvenated looks elsewhere. But please don’t ever get Botox or fillers at someone’s home or in an atmosphere that isn’t professional and safe. You get what you pay for and I would hope that you value your face enough to make sure it is treated in the most professional and safe manner possible. Please consult a board-certified dermatologist who is an expert injector for your Botox and fillers.

Answer: Never Discount Your Face; Say NO to Botox Parties Chell1967. Thank you for your question. Botox parties are a poor choice. A medical grade treatment should be taken seriously in a safe a clean environment. Also if drinking is involved you may not make the best choice for yourself. The most costly treatment can be the least expensive; when you have to have it fixed. Just because someone offers Botox does not mean they have the artistic eye and control to give you the best results.

Answer: Botox Parties While a 'botox party' can be completely harm free, I generally advise against them for many reasons. A few being that a party should not necessarily be mixed in with medical treatment of any sort. You wouldn't want your decisions to be possibly swayed by alcohol. Prior to getting botox or injectables of any kind, I always recommend a face to face consultation with your provider. You should feel 100% confident and comfortable in the situation and I don't think that would be the case at a 'botox party'.Hope this helps & best of luck!

Answer: Botox parties I would not recommend attending botox parties. in fact in Ontario they are illegal to perform. A nurse injector needs a medical director in order to order product and to legally perform the procedure.Filler and botox are a medical procedure and you need someone who has the licence and the experience to perform these procedures.

Answer: Botox parties Most, if not all, reputable plastic surgeons do not participate in “Botox parties.” Despite the fact that everyone from hairdressers to dentists are injecting Botox for cosmetic improvement of wrinkles, most reputable plastic surgeons recognize that these treatments are medical procedures that should be taken seriously. I recommend that you have the procedure done in a safe and clean environment where a proper consultation can be done. It is also unwise to mix alcohol with medical procedures. The bottom line is that Botox parties are a bad idea all the way around, which is why the American Society of Plastic Surgeons does not condone these activities. Best wishes.
