Can I get fat removed from my side boob and upper back area? (Photo)

Question

I had a breast reduction almost two years ago and I have a excessive amount of fat around my side boob area and back that bulges no matter what I wear. I can pinch the fat and it makes wearing any type of shirt or dress hard. When I lift my arms I can see the fat bulge out past my rib area. It is also still numb to the touch which I feel like numbness should have gone away by now.

you can have those areas sculpted. its not uncommon in my practice to treat those areas. I am not sure how much improvement you will get for that you will have to evaluated in person.

great candidate for contouring liposuction of your flanks
and back.  This can greatly improve your overall shape.  Make sure you specifically
look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this
surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.  The most

Thank you for your question. Yes, fat can be removed from these regions with liposuction, but you may also consider Kybella, which has been used off-label to help treat bra-strap fat recently with success. One thing to be mindful of is that when Kybella is used (an injection that helps essentially dissolve away the fat), some patients may end up with areas of fat necrosis / hard lumps, which can make future breast imaging confusing for radiologists who aren't familiar with your history during screening mammograms.

Liposuction can be performed to reduce the volume, but the skin will likely still be loose.  In other words, the rolls of loose skin will likely remain. I do a lot of liposuction and this has been my experience.
