I had a breast reduction almost two years ago and I have a excessive amount of fat around my side boob area and back that bulges no matter what I wear. I can pinch the fat and it makes wearing any type of shirt or dress hard. When I lift my arms I can see the fat bulge out past my rib area. It is also still numb to the touch which I feel like numbness should have gone away by now.

Answer: Liposuction Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you are a great candidate for contouring liposuction of your flanks and back. This can greatly improve your overall shape. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. FACS Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
