Tummy tuck or liposuction? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hello,

I think you would do well with 360 lipo and although you may have some loose skin, it can be addressed in the future. You may not need that surgery depending on how your skin reacts.

Best to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to evaluate your needs.

Sunken mid-face after weight loss. Do I need a facelift? I'm only 27. (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

You definitely do NOT need a facelift. You would benefit however from volume enhancement of some sort. Fillers are a great option and certainly easy, but you may also consider fat grafting which can give a long term volume enhancement as well.

What can I do for a lipo seroma that has come back? (photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

This is an unusual problem following liposuction but can occur. At this point, serial aspirations may be the best solution. If there is more than a nominal (30cc or so) amount of fluid, you want to remove the fluid.

Do I need a lift or can implants alone lift my breasts? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hello,

It appears from the photos that you would likely benefit from a lift with or without implants. that would depend on whether you wanted additional volume or not. your breasts are naturally wide apart and your nipples are centered in the breast mound. be careful wanting them closer as this may make the entire breast look less "normal".

find a few board certified plastic surgeons in your area and consult to determine the best choices.

lifting alone shouldnt change the breast feeding option in the future

2 weeks post lower bleph, festoon or malaria bag? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hi,

it appears that you are healing well given only 2 weeks from LLB and fat transfer. although i am not sure to what extent the surgery entailed, you are really in the early stages of healing.

from the photos at least there appears to be nice improvement in the pre-op concerns; as you heal and swelling reduces, you may notice areas that stand out more. this could be related to loss of the fat as time goes.

your surgeon will advise you of how you are progressing and discuss with you options as needed.

all the best and happy healing,

I had a tummy tuck. Can someone help with this pudginess when I'm sitting? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hi,

it is likely that you still have a fair amount of swelling, especially since it has only been one month and also because it is the most dependent portion of the surgical area (tends to stay swollen longer).

That being said, I would give it time to resolve, but sometimes a bit of lipo will help after everything has healed (maybe 6 months or more).

continue following your surgeon's recs and visits.

What Kind of Doctor Should I See for Lipoma Removal?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Many doctors can do this procedure, but plastic surgeons have the most experience and will pay closer attention to limiting the scar formation than most other specialties. However, look for board-certified surgeons in you area to discuss. This is usually a minor procedure in the office.

I had reduction. Almost 1/2 of the areola is black and there is no nipple sensation. Any thoughts? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Hello,

It appears that you have some bruising and swelling around the breast in general, but the NAC is viable appearing in the photo. I think that your PS is following closely and having you apply NTPaste is a good thing and I would stay in close contact. As for sensation, this often takes a bit of time to come back, but again, it's early and you are swollen.

Best of luck,

6 weeks post and my next appointment is in 6 weeks. Is the pubic swelling normal? Should I address this promptly? (photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

hello,

this period is the time when most swelling is there and starts to subside. however, if you are noticing more than normal or it seems lilke fluid may have collected, visit with your surgeon and see. the worst case is you have a short visit.

If left to heal naturally will my breast look ok after it’s healed? (photos)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

hello,

there is an obvious issue with the blood supply and this is why healing is so poor. this can be an issue if you are thinking about NSM when you have the mastectomy. although you are pressed to move on, this will take time and you must be patient.

discuss and follow closely with your PS so that you have all the information.

Amazing Experience!

I am more than happy with my results from my breast augmentation with fat transfer by Dr.Brown. Although I am only a week out from surgery, I’m extremely excited with my results. Background info is: I am a 26 year old, 5’7 145 lb woman. I’m fit and in shape overall and my hips and legs carry most of my weight (pear shaped). My breasts were an A cup before the procedure. Now I am a B cup. I always wanted fuller breasts, not necessarily extremely large since I have a full butt and I like having a smaller physique on top to balance out my bottom half. I considered implants but preferred a more natural approach. I did not know this procedure existed until I happened to google it one day, and was shocked when it actually existed as a procedure! I went for a consultation and Dr. Brown explained he could take fat from the front of my legs, hips, under my buttocks and flanks (love handles). I did not realize my flanks were fatty at the time, but now that they are reduced in fat I am SO happy I had it added to the procedure. If you are looking to increase to your breasts to an “exact” cup size or looking for more than one cup size then this most likely isn’t the procedure for you. For my own body, liposuction plus breast size increase was a win / win. The experience at the consultation office as well as at the hospital for surgery was professional as well as comforting. I enjoyed every person I worked with each step of the way. And I was nervous surgery day! Dr. Brown helped reassure me as well as my mom before surgery. Thankfully I had my mom to drive me and stay with me the first two nights because I was pretty sore and needed assistance with simple things such as grabbing water from the kitchen and pain meds from across the room. (Aka don’t try to do this alone!) Transitioning from getting up or laying down or sitting down is the most uncomfortable part. My scars are so minimal and can be easily hidden by a bathing suit. Dr. Brown is obviously very knowledgeable in what he does. I appreciated that he was honest in surgery results and expectations and was helpful in answering any questions and concerns I had. Updated on 29 Aug 2018: Updated on 29 Aug 2018: Updated on 29 Aug 2018: The other photos seemed to be cropped so here is a full body shot of before and after one week after operation. (Marks on my legs is pre-op marker and bruising) Updated on 8 Sep 2018: Some updates: My bruising on my legs have subsided! Yay! Thankfully I only wear the compression pants about half of the time now. I still am sleeping on my back each night, Dr.Brown said I could sleep on my side but my thighs and hips are still a bit too sore to put that much pressure on them. I’m off my pain meds completely. I was cleared to go back to the gym as usual at my one week post op appointment. I’m not wearing any type of underwire bra so outfit choices are a bit challenging sometimes. (Probably choosing to do this procedure in fall / winter is a better timing choice). My scars are so tiny and healing well, though are a bit sore sometimes. I’ve been using mederma each day to help the healing process. I’m still really happy with my results ! Updated on 9 Sep 2018:

Tummy Tuck

Best plastic surgeon in LA, NYC and DC!

I am so grateful that I was recommended Dr. Brown by my Ob/Gyn for my tummy tuck and he was also recommended for facial plastic surgery by one of New York's most prominent plastic surgeons who I saw in the past when I lived there. Dr. Brown is the most kind, approachable and skilled doctor I've ever been under the care of. And I couldn't be happier with the results. The results were above and beyond what I hoped for and it is such a pleasure to shop for clothes now and wear a bikini with confidence. There is no reason to go anywhere else. Their skin care specialist Sara is so knowledgeable as well and her treatments and regimen have done wonders for my skin,. I couldn't recommend this practice more.

The best experience and results you can ask for!

Dr. Brown is truly the best plastic surgeon! I started going to his office for just Botox but was curious about smartlipo and after speaking with him about the procedure, I decided to finally get it done. I had Smart Lipo on my flanks and had amazing results. Dr. Brown explains everything to you prior to your surgery and is so kind and gentle. I went back to Dr. Brown for my breast augmentation even though I have plenty of plastic surgeon friends that would have done the procedure for free. I’m so happy that I’ve found such an amazing surgeon!

Earlobe Repair

JourdanDomenica

Earlobe Repair (large gauge closure)

I have had large gauges earlobes since I was 15 (17 years). At their largest, they were 3/4”, and now are closed an almost completely healed thanks to the wonderful Dr. Brown! Dr. Brown performed two fat grafts in my abdomen and injected into my earlobes. This fattened up my lobes for the closure procedure on third visit. There was about 6 weeks of healing time between grafts. I am so thrilled with the results. Dr. Brown addressed my repair in the way an artist would. Now I have plump, pretty earlobes again. He had an aesthetic approach, in addition to the reconstructive repair. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. A++++++

Terrific experience

Excellent, caring and skilled physician. Fabulous choice. Had used another surgeon with disappointing results. Found Dr. Coleman and could not be more pleased with my breasts. They look beautiful. Office staff and his bedside manner are professional, kind and respectful.

My experiences have been superb!

Dr. Brown is a terrific plastic surgeon. I tried out his "beside manner" with smartlipo first. It was wonderful. He talked me through the whole procedure and told me what to expect. Because the experience was so great, I chose him as my breast implant surgeon. He couldn't have been nicer or more responsive to me, my family and my friends. I highly recommend him.

breast aug — great results, great experience

Dr. Brown and his staff are fantastic. I had consultations for breast augmentation with a few other surgeons in the DC area, and Dr. Brown was by far my favorite. He was professional, informative and was just an all around really kind person. He and his staff were patient in answering all of my questions (thanks so much, Lori and Lexie!) and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process — from the initial consultation and pre-op appointment to surgery day and post-op appointments. I had never had surgery before, so I was a little anxious, but the experience was smooth and pleasant (as pleasant as surgery can be, that is.) Recovery was surprisingly a breeze — there was some discomfort the first couple of nights, but overall, it really wasn’t bad. I’m very happy with the experience I had and the results, and can not recommend Dr. Brown and his team enough.

My clothes fit better than before

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in May of 2015 and chose to have a double mastectomy with breast reconstruction. My breast surgeon referred me to Dr. Brown of Bruno Brown Plastic Surgery in Chevy Chase, and after my first meeting with Dr Coleman Brown, I knew I didn't need to look any further! His staff greeted me with smiles and made me feel very comfortable. My Oncologist and other doctors who have seen his work were just as impressed as I was and all have asked for the name of my talented Dr. Brown. There are so many positive things I could say about him, but I'll end with saying he and his staff are the best, I would not hesitate for a moment to refer friends and family members to him and If I could give him more stars, I would give him 10! Love and peace to Dr. Brown and his staff.
