I want to get a TT, lipo with bbl and a breast augmentation, after 2 children I'm think about having one more. But I want to have my surgery like right after I give birth especially since I'm normally about 150 not much fat on my body, but I alway gain like 50 pounds with pregnancies so I'll be at my biggest after labor. So I'm curious with the time period you have to wait after labor b4 surgery. Or if it's ok to get surgery then have a baby. I wouldn't want to mess my body up all over again. Please help

Answer: Mommy makeover after delivery Very good questions. There is some variability but in general it is best to wait until you are done having kids prior to a mommy makeover. Pregnancy can change the results of surgery.I usually wait around 3 months after delivery to recommend a tummy tuck. I usually wait about 3 months after a patient is done breastfeeding to have a breast augmentation.I hope that helps,RSH

Answer: Tummy tuck Hello and thank you for your question. I recommend waiting six months after child birth before having a tummy tuck. Generally, you should wait until you are not planning on having additional children. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Reish, M.D.Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
