Answer: Mommy Makeover Procedures Well, the common opinion is to meet your goal weight before going into the mommy makeover procedures, as they are intended to return the body to desired shape and not to lose additional weight. The mommy makeover is a combination of procedures to bring a woman’s body back to the way she looked prior to pregnancy. Most commonly some variation of a #TummyTuck and #BeastSurgery are performed. Additional procedures can include liposuction, umbilical hernia repair. The most common #breastprocedures include #mastopexy or #breastlift, #breastaugmentation, #breastreduction. Once you think you are ready to plan out the mommy makeover, all you need is a consultation with a local surgeon to determine the best ones to reach your desired results.

Answer: Surgery after Gastric Sleeve It is exciting to lose weight at any time and I get that you want to get surgery to remove the excess skin. It is important for the long term results to be at a stable weight for 6 to 12 months. During this time you should be working on gaining muscle mass and losing fat. Your weight does not necessarily change but your shape does. Surgery or any injury causes loss of muscle mass. There are many patients who have had the same surgery as you and never gained their target shape. Be patient, workout and get in better surgery shape and you will be happier in the long run.

Answer: Mommy Makeover - After Gastric Bypass Surgery Thank you for your question and congratulations on your recent procedure. I believe it is best to be within 10 - 15 pounds of your goal weight prior to surgery for optimal results. You should be close to your goal for at least three months. Please consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in body contouring for an in-person examination and details of the desired procedures. Ask to see before and after pictures of their work. Hope this helps and good luck.

Answer: How soon after gastric sleeve surgery patient should have body contouring surgery It is usually advised to wait about 12 months before undergoing extensive body makeover surgery that you need. You should reach a comfortable weight which you can maintain without significant diet. Only when you weight is stable and the extent of "sagging and hanging" is well defined, multiple body contouring procedures should be started. You have a good plan but be patient. Patience may be very difficult to exercise but it pays. Good luck.
