Because in having mommy makeover with BBL, do you think it would be worth having the oxygen therapy? If so, It's very expensive and I can't afford for 8hs so how many hours at least should I do the oxigen to be worth it? Thank you so much!

Answer: Hyperbaric therapy There is good science to suggest that hyperbaric therapy increases the oxygen content of the blood. HOWEVER, there is no good evidence that suggests that it makes a difference for a mommy makeover. As you mentioned, insurance does not cover it and the out of pocket expense is not worth the marginal benefit. The bottom line is that if you do not have any significant medical problems such as diabetes and you are not a smoker, then the chance you will have problems with healing properly are quite low to begin with, and hyperbaric therapy will offer very little benefit.Best wishes,Dr. Ravi Somayazula

Answer: Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Hyperbaric oxygen therapy can be very expensive even when insurance is paying part of the bill. There is no clinical indication for hyperbaric oxygen as part of a routine mommy makeover, so unless you have some pre-existing disease that requires it, I doubt that it is of much value.Good luck with your procedures!
