I recently had the privilege of being under the care of Dr. Semira Bayati, and I cannot speak highly enough of her exceptional expertise and compassionate approach. As a female plastic surgeon, she not only possesses the technical skills necessary for successful surgeries but also understands and empathizes with the unique concerns and desires of her female patients. From the very first consultation, Dr. Bayati made me feel comfortable and listened attentively to my goals and concerns. She took the time to explain the various procedure options, outlining the potential risks and benefits, ensuring that I had a comprehensive understanding before making any decisions. Her professionalism and ability to establish a trusting doctor-patient relationship truly set her apart. Dr. Bayati's surgical skills are nothing short of remarkable. Throughout the entire process, from pre-operative preparations to the surgery itself and the subsequent post-operative care, she displayed an unwavering attention to detail. The results of my procedure exceeded my expectations, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Dr. Bayati skillfully enhanced my natural features while maintaining a harmonious balance, leaving me with results that are both beautiful and natural-looking. What impressed me the most, however, was Dr. Bayati's genuine care and compassion. She understands that undergoing plastic surgery can be a deeply personal and emotional journey, and she was there for me every step of the way. Her warmth, kindness, and patience helped alleviate any anxiety or apprehension I had, allowing me to feel supported and confident throughout the entire process. The entire staff at Dr. Bayati's practice is exceptional. From the receptionists to the nurses, everyone was friendly, attentive, and professional. The office is beautiful. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Semira Bayati for her expertise, skill, and compassionate care make her an outstanding choice for anyone considering plastic surgery. I am immensely grateful for her dedication to her craft and for helping me achieve the results I desired. She is a true artist in her field, and her commitment to patient satisfaction is truly commendable.
She's the best hands down, the perfect mix between straightforward and compassionate.. I had so much anxiety the morning off my surgery, but as soon as she drew the marks and spoke to me, it all went away.
I am two weeks out from an explant and lift with Dr. Bayati I cannot say enough great things about my experience I really feel like I cannot thank her enough for what she has done for me for the first time in many many years I feel like myself again, and feel beautiful again! I love my new small boobies they are so perfect and they are not even fully healed yet far from it but I already am thrilled. My implants were capsulated and my breast were sagging off of them after breastfeeding my two babies, I was in so much pain and so embarrassed of my breast being so deformed at 24 years old. So grateful for Dr. Bayati she is an artist and has been amazingly kind and wonderful to me. The recovery has been a breeze very little pain if you are consider an explant just do it! It’s has been the best decision I have ever made.
Dr Bayati and her whole care team were simply phenomenal from start to finish. She is highly skilled, disciplined and focused, but she is also extremely gentle and understanding about any insecurities you may have. I did a lot of research to find a surgeon who was confident she could give me a great result without needing to insert an implant. After just 4 weeks of healing, I’m so happy with my results. I’m really glad I made this decision, and that I went with Dr Bayati. Her whole team - special thank you to Nichole and Nancy - were always available to answer questions or concerns. I felt very well cared for at all times. Dr Bayati is a true artist. I recommend her highly and without reservation.
I have undergone three different surgeries with Dr. Bayati as my surgeon and the experience was fantastic all three times! She worked with me to achieve my aesthetic goals and the results are phenomenal. I felt completely comfortable in her care. Her staff is also very accommodating and knowledgeable. I will certainly return to Dr. Bayati for any future work. Thanks Team Bayati!
Im 6 weeks post-op and I couldn't be happier with my results. At first I was very nervous, but Dr. Bayati kept me at ease and provided me a meticulous procedure and post-op guidance. I'm currently receiving laser treatment to prevent keloid scarring and using a silicone gel every day on my scars. Overall my breasts have healed nicely so far and I strongly recommend Dr. Bayati for any cosmetic surgery.
I am 5’1 and 125 pounds. I have been working out for years and while in good shape I could not get rid of my belly and my breasts were loose and saggy from breastfeeding. All of my frustrations led me to getting a mommy makeover. On my first visit to Dr Bayati I knew she was the surgeon for me. She was direct and looked at the whole picture to make sure I get the result I want. I went with a hernia repair, tummy tuck, breast reduction with a lift, and liposuction on the flanks. The surgery day itself was great. Dr was very professional but also comforting since I was a nervous wreck. I did not wake up in pain which I was worried about. The aftercare facility was very comfortable and accommodating. I am currently five weeks post op and I couldn’t be happier with the results. While I still have residual swelling my stomach is so flat I am amazed. It also pulled my waist in so I have more curve. My breasts look very natural going from a D cup to a C cup. Dr Bayati’s post operative care has been great and you can tell she is meticulous with her work. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
It's been several months since my procedure but I still can't believe the amazing results I received from Dr. Bayati. She is the most incredible surgeon, as you can see by my before and after photos. I am a very private person and don't share information on the internet but because I received so much inspiration by all the brave women who have shared on this site, I am paying it back by sharing my photos and story -especially for us older women as there are fewer of us posting. I had so much saggy skin from carrying so much weight for so many years and then having gastric bypass surgery. After the weight loss surgery I addressed the parts of my body that showed in clothing first (upper arms, face, and neck). That was several years ago. Now that I am nearing retirement I want to look good naked too - so that I can feel better about my body and my hubby and I can really enjoy the free time we will have with kids gone and lots of leisure time ahead. So, the question became what to tackle first. I was realistic enough to know I was not 30 or even 40 years old so a lot of postings on this website from younger women were showing results I didn't think I could achieve. Boy, was I surprised! Updated on 5 Jul 2017: Here are a couple photos taken the day I came home from the Recovery Center (3 days post-op) and then the rest of the photos taken 5 weeks post op. I tried to include close-ups of my incision lines so you can see how well they healed. Also, forgot to include my stats in original post. I am 5'8" tall. Weighed about 192-193 day of surgery, and was still at about that weight while these photos were taken. I had lots of water retention. This initial garment I had was mid calf length because she did lipo on my inner knees also. There were cut-outs for the buttocks, and the front comes up to just under the breasts. It was very, very tight. I was unable to fasten it myself, and had to lay down for my husband to do it. After about 2 weeks, due to the swelling that persisted - particularly in my ankles, despite elevating them, I was switched to an ankle length garment to see if the tightness around the calves was preventing the blood/fluid flow. That didn't help, so then I was changed to a knee length garment and allowed to take the garment off at night- that did the trick. So, a total of 3 different garments. They are expensive, but that's just the way it goes. I know that my body has a tendency to swell after surgery anyway - just my body's reaction to surgery. In my 3-day photos you can also see all the drains I had. I will post some more info later - I journaled my experience, but need to edit for brevity before I post. Updated on 5 Jul 2017: I have tried to include information that I found the most helpful reading about from others before I had my surgery: Surgery was estimated to last 6 hours. My surgery ended up taking about 8 hours , rather than the planned 6 hours, because the doctor decided to do the thigh lift different than originally planned and because I had so much scar tissue in my abdomen – I guess from the two c-sections and the appendectomy – it took a lot more time to loosed the skin from the muscle so she could do the abdominal muscle tightening. Originally the plan for my inner thighs was to make an incision down my inner thigh about half way to my knees. She apparently decided that would not provide me with results I would be happy with so ended up making an incision from the middle of my buttocks/leg in front to the middle of my buttocks /leg in back – I think this is called a crescent thigh lift. I love that she made the decision to change to what would bring me the best results even though it wasn’t what was originally planned. After surgery the Recovery Center picked me up and took me to the Recovery Center, which is actually a house not too far from the surgery center. A bonus for me was that, since an RN runs this place, I was able to have the catheter left in, and compression pumps on my lower leg for all the time I was there. This meant that I did not have to worry about getting up and out of bed for anything, other than the check-up I had with my doctor on day 2, and then when I went home. Considering that I was cut all the way around my body + my thighs, it was nice that I was able to just stay in one place. They were excellent and staying on top of my medications and bringing me anything I wanted to eat or drink. I was also to stay bent at the waist at for one week. I had five drains: one on each hip, and 3 in the groin area. Since I had the fat transfer to the buttocks I was concerned about sitting on my bottom in the bed. My doctor had said 4-6 weeks at my original consultation, so that I what I planned on. . After I got home, they told me to lay or sit on pillows, since I had no choice but to lay on my backside given the body lift procedure. that I alternated all day between laying in the recliner and laying on the couch. I was not comfortable in any one location for more than a few hours. started feeling itchy about day 2, which I knew was a sign of healing. I was still at the Recovery Center at that time, so they gave me some Benadryl. I also needed to take it about 3 times during the first week or so at home. It worked great. The six most helpful items I had for this surgery were: recliner chair toilet seat riser walker femine urinal – ordered on line. Since I was having the inner thigh surgery also, I had read that this was better to ensure that urine didn’t get on the incision. In addition to that, with the body lift, it meant that I didn’t have to sit down every time I used the bathroom. This was one less opportunity for any pain. I took it with me when I went anywhere until I was done wearing the garment, which was 6 weeks after surgery. shower seat – I only ended up needing this twice, but it’s still worth it. The first night I was allowed to shower, I got very lightheaded just from having the compression garment and bandages removed. grabber I must say, though, that this whole surgery was relatively pain free. During the first 6 weeks the only time I really felt any pain was getting in or out of the car during the first month. Shifting from sofa to chair and back again several times a day was uncomfortable due to the tightness and pull on the incisions, but it didn’t hurt. My thighs became a little more uneven as the swelling went down by 7 weeks. At 8 weeks I could tell that I had one 4” area on one thigh that looked like it needed lipo again. It almost seemed as though some of the fat injected into by buttocks had moved to far into the thigh. By this time I had already started communicating with the doctor’s office about the next surgery (breasts) and would have her address this thigh area at that time. Since this surgery included lipo to the outer thighs, and inner thigh lift, pants fit me so much better now! Previously I wouldn’t wear light colored pants because my inner thigh loose skin ripples showed, and some pants pulled too much across the hip/thigh area. No longer a problem!! I love this!! I bought some yoga pants and wore them as soon as was able to stop wearing the compression garment
I am 36 years old and a mother of two beautiful children, my journey started 3 years ago, my body changed so much after having kids, and breastfeeding. I wanted to have a mommy makeover but I was scared, I wanted to find the right doctor, who can deliver the results I was looking for, someone I can trust with my life and will be able to do a great job without having to be concerned about revisions, etc. I looked and interviewed doctors in South America, Mexico, Orange County, CA, Los Angeles, CA, Beverly Hills, etc. I could not move forward with the surgery because I was not sure about the doctors I met. A coworker referred me to Doctor Bayati. I scheduled a consultation with her and I knew she was exactly what I was looking for! When we talked I felt confident, she made me feel safe and everything she told me made sense, she will fix and give me the results I was looking for, she was patient and answered all my questions, and my fears started to go away. Dr. Bayati is an excellent professional, she takes pride in her work, I must say she is an extraordinary woman and what my husband told me was right, who can be better than another woman who could understand what I wanted and how I felt. I had my surgery on April 26, 2017, I will never forget this day, the day that changed my life for better. I am extremely happy with my results the whole process has been a good experience. My healing has been smooth with no complications at all. Everything was planned perfectly, no issues. I also want to thank Robin; she went the extra mile to help me finance my procedure. Wendy and April the nurses were so kind to me they always answer my calls and took the time to explain things more than once; they were so patient and nice to me… I am forever thankful with all the team. They treated me good and were always there for me when I needed. I recommend Doctor Bayati and her team, I give them 5 stars, I never do reviews but I took the time to do it because I think it’s so important for other woman like me that are looking for the right surgeon to know how amazing Dr. Bayati is at what she does. My mother is a perfectionist and when she saw my new body, she told me: “It’s perfect! I can’t find any flaws!” My husband loves the results as well, he cannot believe how good I look and he cannot take his eyes off of me. And what else can I say … My goal was to look how I looked before I had kids, but now I look even better! Thanks again Dr. Bayati!!!
I had stubborn fat causing a "double chin." I wasn't interested in surgery so Dr. Bayati and her team introduced me to CoolSculpting. I also have used Dr. Bayati for laser hair removal. Both procedures were quick and efficient. I couldn't be happier with the results! Dr. Bayati and her staff are the best!
Congratulations on your nice surgical results. Your incision is typical of the scar at 2 weeks. It takes the incision a few months to mature and fade. I usually tell my patients to avoid any massage for at least 4 weeks after this surgery, but please check with your surgeon. If you feel that you have fluid collection in the form of a "seroma" your doctor should see you for possible drainage. If the fluid is just swelling, it is in the tissue and should subside with compression therapy. Only your Plastic surgeon can tell the difference. You should see him for evaluation of this "liquid".
It is not uncommon for dissolving stitches to sometime "spit out" through the incision. If that is the case, it is better to have it removed before it gets infected. The best decision is to go see your surgeon for evaluation and treatment.
Congratulations on your recent surgery. It is very common that right after surgery patients weigh more than they did prior to surgery due to the hydration given during surgery and fluid retention by the tissue after surgery. This extra fluid can take up to 2 weeks after surgery to leave your body. Please do not stress yourself over the extra lbs and avoid the scale for a couple of weeks. Continue to eat healthy meals while you cannot exercise. Avoid high fat, high carbohydrate meals as well as too much salt, since all this tends to make you retain more weight and fluid after surgery. Stick to high protein diet.I wish you the best in your recovery.
This is not an unusual occurrence after male abdominoplasty. The swelling and bruising tends to settle in the scrotum and the base of the penis. Some indirect icing under the scrotum, over the underwear will help the symptoms. Just make sure it is not in direct contact with the skin. I wish you the best in your recovery.
Congratulations on your decision to have a tummy tuck. Tightening the abdominal muscles during this surgery leads to a tighter waist anyway. However, if more skin reduction is needed on the sides, there is what's called and extended abdominoplasty that can reduce more skin on the sides extending over the hips. Ask you surgeon whether he feels that you are a good candidate for this extension of the tummy tuck scar. Since he has examined you in person, he is the best judge for necessity of this extension.
