f you’re not ready for an eyebrow lift, 12 units of Dysport should give you the effect you are hoping for. However, if you are young, you need to consider that getting neuromodulators every few months over a long period of time will be quite pricey. You might want to look into a surgical brow lift at some point for a more permanent solution. I hope this helps.
When you say 6 units on each side that doesn't really tell me exactly where on your face you were injected, usually to achieve the brow elevation the best area to inject is between the eyes (glabella) as that area is the depressor muscle group. So Dysport injected there and none in forehead would achieve the highest elevation.Best of luck, Dr. G.
The amount of Dysport you received seems appropriate for your needs. You can expect to start seeing your results in the next few days. All of the neuromodulators can do an excellent job of slightly raising the brows without surgery. But, proper technique is important. Please consult a board-certified dermatologist when you’re ready for your touch ups in about 4 months.
I love using Dysport over Botox for several reasons. It's onset is quicker( usually 4 days), it lasts longer (4 months), and is usually cheaper for the client. Don't get confused with the units, remember with Dysport injections you double the unit dose to be effective. Let your provider take a good look at you to get the right amount that's right for you. Hope this helps. JB
Six units per side of Dysport should give you a conservative brow lift. This is a nice option for those who aren't ready for more aggressive interventions. Your final results are seen two weeks after treatment and should last about three to four months.
I am assuming that you receive six units of Dysport to the lateral aspect of each eyebrow. This is a typical dose to lift the lateral brow. However, the lift is usually a couple of millimeters and not drastic. If you wish to elevate the medial aspect of the brow, you may have the glabellar area injected as well. The glabella is the area in between the eye brows. Having said this, if you need a significant lift in the brows, neuromodulator injection is probably not enough. Instead, you may have to consider endoscopic brow lift.
Administering dysport in a specific region of the lateral side often gives a lift to a heave brow. Its not a surgery level lift but in general a slight lift that I find often pleases the patient.Give it a good 2 weeks to find out. Best of luck
Chin fillers can help to shape the chin. It would not distort your lips. Neuromodulators such as Dysport can also be used in the chin area to treat dynamic muscle activity that causes the "orange peel" look. See an expert injector near you to learn more.
I have never heard of those varied symptoms related to Dysport, or Botox. It would be best to consult with your primary care to find a possible cause to these symptoms.Best of luck,Dr. G
I'm sorry you're unhappy with your filler treatment. Dysport would not help correct the look however. If HA fillers were used you can have the filler dissolved using hyaluronidase. See your injector for an evaluation and to learn more.
