Female, 42, 5 days ago had injections for the first time. Dysport 20cc between eyebrows, and two syringes combined of Restylane and Juvederm, under eyes, marionette lines and chin area. Two days later, I started sneezing and blowing my nose constantly. It's awful all day, and just won't stop when I lay down at night. I've always had allergies and take two pills daily, so they're generally well controlled and have been for quite awhile. Could any of the three injectables I used be the cause?

Answer: Could Dysport, Restylane or Juvederm cause uncontrollable sneezing and awful sinus issues in a first time user?
Cantrell,
Unfortunately, the effects of a neuromodulator requires time for reversal, especially in the forehead. However, if you are experiencing drooping eyes from the injection there are prescription medications that can be applied to help raise the eyelids, while the effects of...
50 units in two areas (forehead and frown) is half the "normal" dose (50 units per area is customary) so it is surprising that you had that much effect but it can happen. It can last 3-4 months depending how many times you have had it done before. Repeated use extends the duration and the effect.
To get rid of the 11's you need to inject 3 muscles in the gabella area of the forehead. The amount of units used changes with how strong those muscle are and whether you use Dysport vs. Botox. Ask the provider to re evaluate you. Hope this helps. JB
