If you’re exchanging for similar or slightly larger implants, then a lift should not be necessary. If you go smaller, you may need a lift, as some ptosis may result. An exam and consultation with a plastic surgeon is recommended to confirm this as well as discuss your options and expectations.
Hello @cmarie2491 thank you for your question and showing your pictures. Whenever we look at breast characteristics we look for a centered position, where the projection of the breast is medial, where the projection of the upper part of the breast with respect to the lower part is equidistant and also that the characteristics of the volume are in accordance with the proportion of the body shape, you do not need a lift from what I can see in your pictures. However having a board-certified plastic surgeon evaluate your case will help determine what you need taking into account patient desire look, characteristics and needs. Best wishes!!
Good evening,It really depends on your wants and expectations. If you just want your current implants swapped out for a new set of silicone implants the same size, then eezy peezy and skip the lift. If you have other desires, however, it would be helpful for you to post some wish pics so we could see what you would really like to achieve!
Dear cmarie2491,determining whether you need simply a breast augmentation versus a breast lift can be somewhat complicated. It depends on a number of factors including skin laxity and current nipple position. Generally speaking, if the nipples are lower than the inframammary line the patient will most likely need a breast lift. If the nipples are at or above the inframammary line we can generally get by with just a breast augmentation depending on the size of the implant the patient wants. I often still using implant when I perform a breast lift because it provides more upper breast fullness after the lift. To be sure a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine what the patient actually needs.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
No, you do not appear to need a lift. If you are happy with your size and have no capsules, you can just keep what you have. Saline implants do not have to be replaced every ten years, but when needed.
Based solely upon the series of posted photos you are NOT a candidate for any lifting operation. Best to seek in person or virtual consults.
Thank you for the question and photos and no lift should be needed with your implant exchange. So go on some complimentary consultations and compare recommendations after a full examination and discussion of desired results Dr Corbin
Hello and thanks for your question. As far as I can understand from the pictures, you can have your breast implant renewal operation and it seems the breast uplift procedure is not needed.
It depends upon which breast your prefer. the higher implant could be lowered or the lower could be raised.
Your pocket could be tightened and the peri-areolar lift could be repeated probably, but measurements are needed to be sure.
Please do not choose 800-1200 cc implants for you will stretch and thin your own tissue and you will sag with time. This would be a very poor choice your your frame and tissue.
