I am 11 months post op from a breast augmentation and not very happy with them. They're way bigger then I wanted and too big for my body. I was 45 kilos and 164cm tall, my surgeon recommended me 425-450 would make me a 10D to 8DD so trusted him and I went with 450 But now I've been left with boobs too big and fake looking on a petite frame, they stick out from the sides and the skin in the middle is raised up Do I need revision? And will the cost be covered/lowered for a cases like mine?
Answer: Implants Your implants are too large and heavy for your frame. You would look and feel much better with something smaller, probably around 300-350 cc's. You can discuss the price for revision with your surgeon, but would still be charged for supplies, the OR room, anesthesia, and new implants. If you go to another surgeon, you will be charged full price.

Answer: Synmastia / The Original Internal Bra Good morning, You definitely have quite a case of synmastia there- I actually repair this on a regular basis using the Original Internal Bra, my strong permanent internal suturing technique. I first developed this technique over 20 years ago, and today it is the most common revision procedure I perform, at least 5-6 times a week. The surgeon should repair this for you, at no charge or reduced cost, but the question you should have for them is do they know how to fix it? This is the most difficult repair to get right in all of breast augmentation surgery, so I would insist that they be able to show you many of their own successful repairs by way or pre and postop photos. If they can't show you pics, then they haven't done any repairs- run don't walk to a revision specialist, because the last thing you want is for someone to attempt their first repair on you- it will turn out a mess and just make it more difficult for surgeons like me who have a knack for repairing disasters.

Answer: BA results Dear Jade0, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. The price is entirely practice dependent. If it was planned to be staged than the cost may be included. If its a revision, typically surgeons only ask the patient to pay for the surgery center and anesthesia. Answer: Symmastia You certainly have a significant symmastia and require a revision procedure. Each surgeon has their own office protocols for revision cases and we were not privy to the conversation leading up to the implant selection Dr. Taranow

Answer: Tenting vs unibreast I can't tell which of these you have but you do have a problem in the midline. You need narrower smaller implants and a repair. It is not easy to fix. Fees will need to be discussed with your surgeon.
