Thanks for the question. you will need to see a consultant plastic surgeon who will examine and take measurements and give you an idea on implants and quality of capsule. You can benefit with exchange of implants and revision uplift procedure. It depends if you happy with size. If you are considering going smaller, you can consider removing the implants and going for uplift with auto augmentation using your own tissues from lower pole. You can avoid implants by going for fat transfer to achieve your desired size. You can get 3D simulation to get some idea what results to expect from these procedures.
Good evening,That's a really good question- can it? Absolutely yes! Will it? There's the question. So it's really up to your surgeon- how much experience do they have, can they show you dozens of examples of their own work where the lift is performed to your satisfaction? If the answer is yes then confidently proceed. If no, then keep looking!
The technique I recommend is explantation and lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Dear Gentle598498,my preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
I think going with smaller implants and relifting would be a good options. You stretched out tissue will not support heavy implants.
You are a good candidate for an anchor lift with reduced sized implants. Rounder breasts with higher nipple areolas. Best wishes on your procedure. Dr. Taranow
Good evening, I have performed over 1000 synmastia repairs, probably more than any other surgeon in the U.S I do this with the Original Internal Bra, my strong permanent internal suturing technique- which also provides enough long term support to allow the placement of larger implants. I first...
Your implants are too large and heavy for your frame. You would look and feel much better with something smaller, probably around 300-350 cc's. You can discuss the price for revision with your surgeon, but would still be charged for supplies, the OR room, anesthesia, and new implants. If you go...
You have sagging from the weight and appear to have a capsule that has formed. I would suggest another capsulectomy, going with smaller implants, and another lift.
