Hi, I had a breast implants exactly 1 year ago now. I had 375cc in one and 400cc in the other along side a nipple lift. I’ve since been to my surgeon as my one implant is falling into my armpit why I lye done I think they are too low, also I’m not happy with my nipple position. He has said he will do a full uplift revision but I don’t not want this or the scars. Can you please suggest what procedure I need to make my breasts look nicer, can I just have another nipple lift to tighten the skin?
Answer: Implants Your pocket could be tightened and the peri-areolar lift could be repeated probably, but measurements are needed to be sure.

Answer: Lateral Displacement / The Original Internal Bra Good evening, You have some lateral displacement, which means your surgeon overdissected your pocket a little too far laterally on the side. I correct this with the Original Internal Bra, my strong permanent internal suturing technique. I first developed this technique over 20 years ago, and today it is the most common revision procedure I perform, at least 5-6 times a week- it works and it lasts! I would also redo your donut mastopexy (periaeolar lift)- not an anchor or vertical lift- to improve/correct your nipple position.

Answer: Mini lift with implant exchange Tightening the skin will not solve your problem. Your implants are mechanically unstable and falling into the armpit since the only thing holding them up is the skin envelope. You will need either the implants removed or exchanged for smaller ones, plication of the pockets inferior and laterally and a lift. The technique I recommend is a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, the implants can be exchanged for smaller ones. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Revision surgery Dear Katie.ban94, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals. Answer: Breast revision You don't need a lift done. With your arms at your side there is mild asymmetry which could be adjusted.
