I was wondering if I would be a good candidate for a rhinoplasty. I have always disliked the tip of my nose. Is there a way to see a before and after at a consult to see what the final result might look like. My husband is hesitant and I think it would support my decision more.

Answer: Rhinoplasty to improve shape... Based on your photos, you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty. The tip can be refined to be smaller and better supported. Your skin is a little thick so it will never be really small, but you should get a nice improvement. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty expert for consultation.

I think it is one of the most beautifying surgeries that we do as plastic surgeons. A large portion of my practice is dedicated to rhinoplasty surgery. In your case, you should be able to have an excellent result. It is important to only see plastic surgeons with extensive experience in rhinoplasty, ie perform at least 6 per month and have performed hundreds of cases. Also, critically evaluate on-line galleries to see if their art form resonates with yours. Rhinoplasty is definitely a grey haired plastic surgeon's sport. Best wishes to you.
