How can I get rid of this extra “bridge” on my labia? (Photo)

Hi! Thanks for posting some pictures. It is not very clear, but it appears you have a connection between the labia minora, which may be scar tissue. It is an unusual place if you never had surgery before. An in office examination would be ideal to determine exactLy what the tissue is and how best to correct it. Good luck!

The angle of the photo doesn't show enough to answer your question. You would be best served by an in person exam. There might be nothing wrong at all, but the entire area needs to be examined to see if there's anything at all that needs specific treatment.

hello, you should go to a gynecologist. You can get rid of this excess tissue with a minor surgical procedure. Otherwise, it can cause real trouble during sexual intercourse.

I am not sure if If your referring to the clitoris and the frenula which are attached to the clitoris or
to the tissue inside the vagina. If it is the tissue inside the vagina, it is most likely remnants of the hymen which can be excised. If you are referring to the clitoris and its attachments, you do NOT want to cut this. I would advise you to see a gynecologist or plastic surgeon in your area who specializes in labial surgery to discuss exactly what is the tissue that is bothering you. Probably your own gynecologist can tell you just as well what it is.

Thank you for your question.It appears you have a connection between your labia minor, likely due to trauma of some sort and then subsequent healing (post surgery, delivery, etc).This could easily be removed using local anesthetic.

Thank you for sharing your question. You appear to be pointing at your clitoral frenulum tissue which connects from your labia minora to clitoris. Although this tissue can be reduced in size in specific cases, care must be taken to not impact sensation of the tissues. I would schedule in-person consultations to get the best treatment advice.

It looks like you've had tearing of your labia in the past that has healed by bridging together your labia. Photos from a different angle would help to be certain, but so would you consulting with a gynecologist to remove the adhesion under local anesthesia.

The bridge-shaped tissue can be cut and removed near your inner lips. Even local anesthesia is sufficient for this procedure.

If I'm seeing your photo right, what you appear to be pointing to is your "urethral meatus," AKA "pee hole," the opening through which you urinate. This opening can have "fronds," or polypoid-like projections at its opening. When irritated (like rough sex) this area can easily becme inflamed and uncomfortble. The "wierd look" is entirely norml-- this area can look like it has rough tissue protruding, but as I said, it is not abnormal. So... "what to do??" First, understand that it is anatomically normal, despite how it appears to you. Most women's urethral meatus looks this way. Second, if it gets irritated during sexual merrymaking, just wait a few days until it is "quiet" before you your lover stimulate the area again.
