Hello, I had a rhino 2 months ago. The doctor didn’t want to change the tip of my nose but he promised me a straight one. 2 months post op my face is still unevenly swollen my nose feels hard. 1 side looks different than the other. It doesn’t look straight at all. Can I have a revision at 9 months? Will I get the same amount or bruises? Can I start putting fillers to have a straighter nose until the revision? I know it’s too early to judge but it’s just obvious that it won’t be straight. Thanks

Answer: Can a revision for Polly beak deformity be done 9 months after surgery?
Your nose is over projected now which make your dorsum look over resected. The line you see at the upper aspect of the nose is where the osteotomy was done. Correcting over projection should restore the balance to the nose. Examination will lead to a more accurate diagnosis. Best
It is possible to make the nose wider with a revision rhinoplasty procedure, but it is important understand this is more difficult due to the fact that there has been previous alterations to the normal anatomy and scar tissue formation. It is very important to know how much cartilage is left ...
Your nose is wide and asymmetric. While the spreader grafts can be completely remove my suggestion is partial removal and more on the left than right to correct the asymmetry. Your nose was too narrow before the surgery.
