Revision Rhinoplasty needed - can this be fixed? (photos)

Question

Hi all Please see pics, I had closed rhinoplasty done nearly 10 years ago now when I was 16. I always kind of felt like after the healing the tip carried on having that slightly ‘swollen’ look. The results looked smaller when the cast first came off. I was wondering if this would be a big procedure to ‘fix’ and would pricing be about the same as the first surgery? Thanks

You would need an in-person consultation to find out if you’re a good candidate for revision rhinoplasty, but your photos suggest that you likely are. As for the price, revision rhinoplasty is almost always more expensive than an initial closed rhinoplasty. The procedure is far more complex, which is why finding a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon is essential. I recommend searching for a facial plastic surgeon with a high level of experience in revision rhinoplasty. Experienced surgeons always have portfolios to showcase their work and digital imaging to demonstrate your expected results.

Without an in-person examination, it is difficult to determine what would be needed and it is important that you have an in-person examination to discuss your goals with the surgeon and whether or not those goals can be safely achieved. Revision rhinoplasty is more expensive, as it is a more difficult procedure to perform. The most important thing is to find a surgeon that specializes in revision rhinoplasty and have an in-person consultation. Best of luck!
