I had an upper and lower blepharoplasty done at the beginning of July just over two months ago. My upper eyelids have scarring and some puckering my lower lids have scarring and some retraction. My physicians been treating them with an injectable steroid. These procedures haven’t gone at all how I would expect and now I’m trying to come up with some solutions. I recognize that I probably won’t be able to have a surgical solution for many months, but I would like a plan.

Eyelid retraction is a complicated condition. This often is caused from over-resection of skin. Correction often involves a lower lid spacer graft (hard palate or alloderm) and canthoplasty. Best to see an eyelid expert.
