If your old native hairs don't fall out from shock hair loss, there is no reason to believe why it would not grow back.

Implanted hairs falling out is a normal part of the process. Shock loss is when your natural hair falls out too- this is also fairly common, and generally it will grow back within a few months of the hair falling out. The only time the natural hair wouldn't grow back is if it was susceptible to balding in the near future because your hair loss hadn't stabilized yet.
