Usually all you can do for now is take some painkillers- but talk to your doctor, a burning sensation isn't too unusual but it can be a sign of other issues. Your doctor may also be able to recommend you something to more effectively stop the discomfort.
Pain after surgery may be normal. Burning sensation is not typical but it may happen. You need to contact your doctor.
