I'm trying to decide if I need a tummy tuck or if renuvion would suffice. I really don't want the scar of a tummy tuck. My surgeon said it was possible to do renuvion instead of a tummy tuck but I would like some other opinions.

Answer: Abdomen Liposuction and Renuvion will give you fairly good results, but you would get a flatter abdomen with a tummy tuck to tighten the muscles and remove excess skin. You could also add EMSculpt after liposuction to help tighten and pull in weak muscles.

Based on your pictures you will likely benefit from a full tummy tuck in order to address the excess skin that is contributing to the appearance of irregularities and dimpling on your abdomen. A tummy tuck with muscle plication addresses moderate to severe skin redundancy (loose skin) and tightens your abdominal muscles hence, giving the appearance of a flatter abdomen.

Renuvion will not be able to tighten your skin to give you a good result. I use Renuvion in the appropriate candidate. You will need a tummy tuck and liposuction of your torso with a low pubic bone level incision which can be covered by your bikini.
