Hello Surgeons! Do you recommend J-Plasma for post bariatric surgery (VSG) patients struggling body with skin elasticity?
Answer: Skin If you do not have an excessive amount of skin, then J plasma can be very helpful. If you have a lot of loose skin, you will need surgery.

Answer: J Plasma Post Bariatric Surgery While an in person consultation or pictures will provide a more accurate assessment, based on your history alone of having been a significant weight loss patient, it is highly likely that you will not be a candidate for J Plasma alone and will require a total body lift or potentially a split lower body/upper body lift based on your current habitus, skin laxity, and goals.

Answer: J-Plasma is a good option J-Plasma works well, though in our experience it seems to work on areas where the skin flap is thinner. For areas where the skin flap is thicker we still like Bodytite.

Answer: J Plasma J-Plasma works well for those with good skin elasticity. If you are have poor elasticity you will not likely have favorable results from J Plasma. An examination is needed to know for sure, but in those cases excision is often the best option.

Answer: J-Plasma for Post Bariatric Patients - Yay/Nay? BIG NAY!!!! J-Plasma rarely gives any skin tightening eve on slender individuals. Most owners use as a bovie in surgery now, quite expensive bovie cautery unit!
