Hello! I am 5'6" and I am a little overweight at 178lbs. But I have always had a little nugget of fat resting in my armpits, even when I was like 100lbs in high school. Well when I had kids my breasts got bigger and so did these fat deposits. When I breastfed I could feel my armpits tingling which was weird to me. Does this look like a case of auxiliary tissue?

Answer: Axillary fat tissue? This is most likely fat tissue that will respond to liposuction of the front bra roll (or side breast) which is commonly added-on done at the time of breast reduction. This helps clean out the fat under the arm to complete framing and delineating the outer breast area. This fold will shrink significantly, but there will still be a small remnant of the fold left, it is impossible to completely eliminate without removal the skin leaving a visible, unsightly scar; but still beneficial realising this limitation. Thank you.
