Answer: Surgery You probably have excess breast tissue in the axilla and side areas which does sometimes get sore when hormones fluctuate. If need, more from these areas could be removed. Go back to your surgeon or find another and discuss your concerns.

Answer: Two years post op It's not common to experience soreness on a regular basis two years after surgery. It's difficult to determine if this is related to your surgery, hormonal changes, or potentially the fit of your bras. I encourage you to visit with your surgeon for an evaluation to rule out any concerns.

Answer: Breast soreness 2 years post breast reduction Thank you for your query. It is very unusual to have soreness in the area, this late after surgery . It is difficult to say without any pictures and without examining you, but an ultrasound may be of help. Please make an appointment with your Plastic surgeon who can examine you and help you with all your concerns. All the best!

Answer: Breast pain I would say what you describe exactly may not be the most common scenario but many if not most women do experience some breast pain or discomfort. Very difficult to tell if this is related to your procedure, the spice of your breast, etc., etc. If you’re not happy with the outcome of your breast reduction, then follow up with your plastic surgeon. For general breast pain you may want to bring this up next time you see your primary care, doctor or OB/GYN. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
