Yes, this is lateral displacement and you will need the implants revised. You will need plication of the pockets laterally and inferiorly to push the implants more medial and higher on the chest wall. This will also correct the asymmetry.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Normal breasts do fall to the side when you lay down. If this bothers you, then have the pockets tightened. However, you may lose some softness and mobility with tighter pockets.
