I had a breast lift and augmentation and I asked for high profile at least 400 cc's. My frame is bigger so implants less than 400 look like 300 something. Well my doctor refused to give me 400 and he said I won't go bigger than 385. I'm completely underwhelmed 2 years later. And he placed my nipples a little bit higher than I liked. Can you please recommend what profile and implant type to get to get that high bouncy round look? Not to mention I hate my scars. This isn’t anyone’s fault but mine for going to a cheap factory place. Nonetheless I still feel very underwhelmed with my surgery and now I have to go back to get what I wanted in the first place . I want to find a good surgeon that will listen to me.
Answer: Larger implant and capsulorrhaphy Thanks for your question! I do think you could go with a larger implant at this point. You may be able to get by with a capsulorrhaphy OR you may need a revision of the lift. That would be determined in person. Good luck!

Answer: Revision Breast Surgery While challenging, I find complex revision cases both rewarding and meaningful. The right surgical plan depends on the issues caused by the original procedure and what you’re hoping to achieve. In cases like yours, I often recommend a combination of the following: *Revision of the breast lift, which may include removing the previous scar and reshaping the lower part of the breast*Internal pocket modification with sutures or mesh to improve implant position, enhance upper pole fullness, and support better cleavage*Use of more cohesive implants to help maintain upper breast shape over time*Scar support techniques like Brijjit or Sylke dressings during healing*Supportive garments to protect surgical results in early recovery*A proactive scar management plan, including Broadband Light (BBL), ProFractional laser treatments, and Silagen topical products All of this—combined with strict adherence to activity restrictions and aftercare—can significantly improve healing and long-term results. Because revision surgery is complex and highly personalized, it’s important to meet with a board-certified plastic surgeon who can assess your anatomy, listen to your concerns, and develop a plan tailored to your goals. Answer: Revision surgery Dear summersamantha, breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery. Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size. While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras. If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Also, you have to make sure that your surgeon understands your breast augmentation goals. Answer: Revision This would require a complex breast revisionary surgery. The nipple to-fold-distances are too long; this is what creates the appearance that the nipples are sitting up too high facing the ceiling ("sunny side eggs look"). The challenge with breast surgery is that a large implant usually creates problems over time due to the stretch on the breast soft tissues (including the breast capsule). It is much like sizing a shoe, your foot can only tolerate a very specific range of sizes...the breast can only tolerate a certain volume and width. If you select a shoe or breast implant that is not the correct size for the anatomy, you will have issues over time. I would recommend seeing an expert in revisionary aesthetic plastic surgery like Bill Adams in Dallas.
