Over time, implants and breast may stretch and settle lower. A revision to support the fold higher up will raise implants and shorten lower poles with a modified breast lift. Sometimes, mesh can be added for more stability. An exam and consultation with your/a plastic surgeon is recommended to confirm this as well as discuss your best options and expectations.
Thank you for your inquiry! We would love to meet with you to discuss your concerns. Schedule a consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon to help you reach your goals.
Your photograph is somewhat limited, I do not have a lateral view. Your breasts are low on the chest wall and you are probably bottoming out. At this time, I recommend explantation and lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
Dear KCL1610,bottoming out occurs when the implant falls below the current breast crease or inframammary line. It's more likely to happen with inframammary incisions, which is why I try not to use the inframammary approach to any breast surgery.Bottoming out can also occur if an implant is too large for the breast pocket. That is why it is important to choose an implant size that's correct for your body. I perform numerous measurements in the office to determine optimal implant size for my patient's bodies. If you are concerned, please check it with your plastic surgeon for reassurance and to further discuss your options and possibility of revision.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Hello and thank you for your question. It is difficult to determine whether you have truly ""bottomed out" without the benefit of pre-operative photographs, physical examination and additional postoperative photographs. Bottoming out occurs because of poor soft tissue support, implant malposition or a combination of the two. Correction typically involves revision of your breast lift, and modification of the implant pocket with repair and possible absorbable mesh placement to provide additional support. For best results, you should consult a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery with extensive experience in revisional breast procedures. Good luck. I hope this helps.
Yes, both implants are bottoming out. The inferior pockets can be tightened, and you might need mesh for support. go visit with your plastic surgeon.
You have bottoming out post lift and implants. The best option is to see you surgeon for correction. This will require pocket revision and lift revision.
Based on your posted photo it appears the surgical technique of lifting was not done well. Only re-lifting can improve the effect of the lobotomy. $5000-$10,000. Best of virtual consult with.
You only posted one photo. You surgeon can remove some excess skin in the office and it may help. If this reoccurs, you will need your inferior pockets tightened.
I would suggest going down smaller and tightening the lateral pockets with mesh to help prevent the migration. You will need to avoid heavy lifting and heavy upper arm workouts for 3 months.
You need a mastopexy (breast lift). There is excessive soft tissue laxity/skin excess that was not addressed.
