Answer: Smart Lipo The liposuction will thin the fat layer quite effectively. The loose hanging skin will be a problem though. I think it is reasonable to try the Smart Lipo IF you are willing to accept residual loose skin and the possibility that a second skin removal procedure may be needed. Ask your surgeon when you consult, physical exam is really the best way for someone to tell how much skin tightening they think you might get from SL.

Answer: Am I too overweight to get laser lipo? Will it make a difference? Liposuction will remove a great deal of fat with the right surgeon, but I think skin removal with liposuction would give the most improvement.Find a board certified plastic

Answer: Is Smartlipo right for me? Smartlipo would improve you hip/flank area and a combination of skin removal and Smartlipo for the abdomen. Results would improve with weight loss. Thank you for your question.

Answer: I do not think laser lipolysis will be enough Make sure you seek a board certified plastic surgeon who is comfortable and capable of doing the following procedures: 1) Abdominoplasty 2) Standard liposuction 3) Laser lipolysis (SmartLipo). That way, you will get an unbiased opinion of what will be best for you. Just looking at your photos, I do not think you are a good candidate for laser lipolysis alone.
