I want Smartlipo but my doctor keep refering me to cool sculpting. Should I seek 2nd opinion?

contour most body types. Even in slim patients, there are areas and pockets of
fat that cannot be controlled through diet and exercise alone. I have treated

This would be hard to make a recommendation without an exam.  Liposuction results are highly surgeon dependent. Find a board certified plastic
surgeon who performs hundreds of liposuction and liposuction revision
procedures each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before
and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the

Hi Albanyfx, The time frame over which the results form Cool Sculpting works takes months. The results may be subtle and often there is a need to do a second treatment. It does work but possibly not as much as you might like. The advantage of the Smart Lipo laser assisted liposuction is that it has a more rapid and dramatic improvement. I don't have any information about your age and medical history so it is difficult to advise here. I recommend a second opinion. Smart Lipo is invasive but an isolated area like your hips could be done with tumescent local anesthesia with oral or intravenous anesthesia.
