Is lipo revision in office possible? (Photo)

Question

I know I'm only almost two weeks post op. But I'm pretty sure I needed more lipo of the flanks. My PS said most revisions can be done in office but I'm not sure if that includes an additional small amount of lipo. Im hoping he can numb me up and just suck a little more out. And, yes, I understand I will need to wait longer to see my final results. I don't want a bulge out when looking at me from the front.

Hi kmomoFirst, you are only two weeks out so you don't know what the final result will be.Second, and to the point, yes.  It should be easy to do lipo in the office, I do it all the time.Sek

Yes, This is frequently done. I think it should not be done prior to 3 months. Inject a little local and remove a little more fat.

It takes at least 6 months to judge the results from liposuction.  You need to wait for all the swelling to resolve and the skin to re-drape before considering any touch up procedures.  At 2 weeks post op most of my patients are just getting back (swelling wise) to where they started!  Take a deep breath and let your body heal first, if after the final results are known, then you can consider another round of liposuction.
