Your next step would require significantly more extensive surgery like lower body lift with liposuction. Thank you for your question regarding what to do about your outer thigh after liposuction. Thank you also for your pictures which reveal deep puckering on both sides, both on the left and right. In addition, I see a significant amount of hanging skin. Two excellent surgical procedures can be done to correct this deformity. However, I may suggest first that you try to lose more weight. You did not include your height, weight, BMI, or weight loss history. These would be important in your global assessment. Also, preoperative labs would be essential to determine if you are a surgical candidate.
Regarding the surgical treatment to these areas, I would suggest either a hip lift or posterior buttock lif tor 360 circumferential lower body lift. An incision is made over the hip during a hip lift, and excess skin and fat are lifted and removed. The hip is also lifted during a posterior buttock lift, and excess skin and fat are removed. However, the difference between a hip lift and a posterior buttock lift is that the buttock is also lifted and reduced. If you also want the abdomen addressed, the hip lift or posterior buttock lift can be combined with a 360 circumferential body lift. During a 360 circumferential body lift, the hip is lifted and reduced, the buttock is lifted and reduced, and the abdomen is reduced and removed. During a 360 circumferential body lift, it addresses your abdomen, hip, and buttock. These are the traditional ways to correct this problem. Another technique that I have used over the past twenty years is an oblique hip incision. This is done to correct the saddlebags. I call it a saddle bag deformity correction. During this procedure, an incision is made underneath the buttock fold and extended oblique or diagonal to the top of the anterior butt line. This follows the buttock crease and the crease created with your liposuction results. This creates an excellent result. All these procedures are done under general anesthesia under the guidance of a board-certified MD doctor anesthesiologist. These procedures are done on an outpatient basis. I'm sorry about the results from your surgery. It seems that a significant deformity was created. At this point, you will require additional surgery with a combination of both additional liposuction and excision in the form of a lower body lift.
