I'm a 24 years girl and I’m thinking about getting liposuction for a couple years now. I’m a full time student and work on the side. I wanna get lipo for my hips, buttocks and thighs so I was wondering what would be the time of the recovery for the three? I’m a student and work as a nurse so my life is busy and I don’t have much time to recover thanks
Answer: Liposuction recovery Hi, thank you for your question. The most difficult part of recovery is the first two weeks. After this period you will still have pain and swelling but not enough to prevent you from your work or school. Hope this has helped, good luck

Answer: Recovery time post lipo Thank you for your question! For my patients having liposuction, I recommend they take 10-14 days off of work, 3 weeks off of cardio at the gym, and 6 weeks off of weight training and yoga. If your job requires you to lift over 10lbs and physical activity, I recommend returning on light duty at 2 weeks, and no restrictions at 6 weeks. I also recommend discussing specific post op instructions with your plastic surgeon. Best of luck!

Answer: MINIMAL DOWNTIME WITH 4D VASER LIPOSUCTION. Hello ouidad, It’s a pleasure to answer your questions! Based on your pictures and description, I would recommend you getting a large volume VASER Liposuction procedure to get rid of excess fat in particular areas for a beautifully contoured figure. Large volume of fat (beyond 4-5 Liters) can be removed with VASER Liposuction with general anesthesia as opposed than using local anesthesia for tumescent liposuction. VASER Liposuction is an advanced body contouring procedure that “selectively” remove unwanted body fat. This method uses minimally-invasive ultrasound technology to emulsify fat while leaving all other important tissues intact, resulting in significant desirable effects with minimal damage to surrounding tissues. Consequently, patients recover considerably quicker as they suffer reduced bleeding, bruising and swelling in the treated areas. The shorter recovery time needed for VASER Liposuction makes it more convenient and appealing to my patients, who may return to their work and regular activities as short as one week after surgery. Meanwhile, the recovery time expected for other liposuction methods exceeds the 2 weeks. Best regards! Dr. De La Cruz.

Answer: Post Operative Recovery Thank you for your question. While experiences vary, most patients need about 7-10 days (up to 14 days) until resuming normal daily activities. Strenuous activities and heavy lifting is not recommended until about 6 weeks post-surgery. I recommend consulting with a board certified plastic surgeon for individualized advice and post op recovery.

Answer: Recovery time for buttocks, thighs, hips liposuction? You may be a bit tender for longer, but on average most people can return to most activities within a week of having liposuction. You will need to wear a compression garment for 4-6 weeks but are typically able to do anything you want while wearing it under your clothes. Every patient is different so its best to discuss with your surgeon who knows your particular case better. Hope that helps!
