I don't want to have invasive surgery and wonder if there are other options that would improve my neck and jowls. I would also like to get rid of my muffin top. I am not overweight and exercise but I have that roll I can't get rid of that ruins my look in a bikini or tight clothes.

Answer: Neck and jowls Hello! At 73 it is likely that a surgical lift is the best option for you, although it is difficult to say much more without photographs. Fillers and skin treatments can help volumize the face but will not get rid of sagging jowls and neck skin. There truly is no magic wand that will do what a facelift does. "Invasive" is a term used anytime we cut the skin, but truly a facelift is soft tissue work and in the hands of an experienced surgeon imparts minimal risk. I would recommend a consultation with an experienced facial plastic surgeon to discuss options to help you meet your goals. Good luck!

Answer: Face lift and neck lift- minimally invasive? It all depends on what you mean by minimally invasive. this morning i did a facelift on a 72 year old. It was considered minimally invasive as it was perform under local anesthesia with some oral sedation. If you wanted a smaller procedure, like a minilift, which would entail a shorter incision around your ears- that could also be done; however, understand that a more minimal procedure will also mean compromising your optimal resultsthere are other options, such as noninvasive devices like ultherapy and others out there that can tighten the skin, however, you would have to have a consultation to discuss the expected results as these devices usually do better for patients in their 40's - 50's.
