All of my life I have had poor volume in my Midface area. I was considering trying fillers to fill out the creases I have in my face but I'm having trouble deciding which to use and how many I might need.
Answer: How Much Dermal Filler for my Cheeks? Hi EG. You actually have very good facial structure and volume, but there is a small indentation at the upper cheek right below the cheekbone. This indentation is quite common and has to do with the loss of fat and downward movement of cheek tissue. We commonly use Restylane, Radiesse or Restylane Lyft to correct it (see image at link below).Usually 1-2 syringes will take care of the issue and duration is most often between 6-12 months depending on the type of product used.

Answer: Improving Facial Volume in the Midface / Cheeks with Injectable Fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill), Sculptra, Fat, Implants You can improve facial volume and contour with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra. Fat grafting and implants are long-term alternatives. I would highly recommend getting a formal evaluation with and treatment from a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist and expert in facial sculpting. Technique is the key to seeing results with fillers, so you'll want to see someone meticulous. An experienced physician will be able to determine which filler, how much filler, and which technique will give you the result you're looking for. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Fillers for the mid face Hi - filler placement for the mid face should try to accentuate the already beautiful cheekbones that you have, without trying to widen your face further. There are many fillers out there, but a filler that has a higher lifting capacity like Restylane Lyft, Juvederm Ultra Plus XC or Voluma would be good options for you. Seeing an injector who knows facial anatomy exceptionally well, like a facial plastic surgeon would be the best bet for you. Best of luck Dr Singleton

Answer: Filler Hello there! I would not fill your nasolabial folds at this time. Instead I would inject 1-2 cc's of filler into the midface to address the flatness that you are seeing there. You do not need much, just a little bit will go a long way. Make sure you are working with an expert injector. Good luck! Sarah RN BSN

Answer: Mid face filler Your photos show nice volume in the mid face or cheeks. You may have some volume deficit around the mouth but it is difficult to determine in photos. See an expert injector who can balance and enhance your face in a subtle and aesthetic way looking at volume and arcs of the face as well as proportion. Do not overdo it. Excessively large cheeks do not look attractive. All the best, Alexis Parker MD
