Does anyone know why I have these tear trough complications 8 months post injection? (Photos)

Thank you for your questions and pictures. The two most worrisome things that need to be ruled out are infection and granuloma formation. You need an in-person consultation and examination and I would recommend more attempts at dissolving any remaining filler with Hyaluronidase. This may take several sessions. Make sure you are under the care of someone who has experience managing filler complications. Best wishes.

Hello and thank you so much for providing photos. There are a lot of variables that may contribute to an adverse result such as this. What product was injected? Was it indicated for the tear trough area? Was it injected too superficially? Was there any sort of trauma to the area injected in December when the lump appeared? Were you treated by a physician that specializes in this type of treatment?

Thank your for your pictures and question. It does look like a late onset nodule / granuloma. This is a rare but a possible complication after dermal filler treatment. Often, a combination of antibiotic, prednisone and multiple hyaluronidase injection sessions is necessary. It should resolve completely but may take many weeks.
