I am noticing that the tip of my nose is starting to droop and my nostrils are flared and at a peculiar angle. My nose is shaped like an arrow. The bulbous tip, drooping tip and nostrils are really bothering me. I hate smiling in pictures because of it. Smiling makes the droop more noticeable. I do like my bridge and have no issues with it. Am I a candidate for a tiplasty versus a full rhinoplasty.?
Answer: Rhinoplasty Although you notice your tip (and nostrils), the fix is a rhinoplasty and septoplasty. The techniques required to reshape and reposition your tip requires the nose to be surgically exposed for multiple reasons, including cartilage harvesting from the septum. Additionally, in all likelihood your nasal airway is limited, and a proper surgery would be designed to address that too. Done by an expert, your nose will look and work much, much better.

Answer: I Recommend Septorhinoplasty | Plastic Surgery | Rhinoplasty Expert | Nose Job | Droop | Bulbous Tip | Nostrils | Septoplasty Hello and thank you for your question and the pictures. Addressing the shape of the nose (particularly the nasal tip) is actually one of the most common reasons people seek out and undergo a rhinoplasty. An open septorhinoplasty can best address your nose, and is particularly effective at addressing the tip size, shape, and definition! You would need a "full" rhinoplasty (instead of just working on the tip) because to balance your nose with your other facial features, I'd need to shorten the length of the nose and potentially also deproject the tip to adjust the angle and your nostrils. I'd also address the drooping at the same time. This truly a surgery of millimeters- and it requires exceptional surgical skill to achieve natural-looking results! Because your nose is the DEFINING feature of your face- I would only recommend seeing a surgeon who specializes in rhinoplasty procedures, and who has significant training and experience performing these surgeries. I actually trained under one of the world leading rhinoplasty experts (who performs 1,000+ nosejobs annually). I recommend for you to setup a formal consultation with me (or another plastic surgeon who is extremely comfortable with rhinoplasties) to thoroughly discuss your surgical goals, undergo a formal examination, evaluate your options, and develop a personalized plan just for you. I hope this helps! Dr. Donald Groves Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Tip-plasty Good afternoon from Maryland! Love the sunglasses! This is a super common concern among patients. Yes, you would be a candidate for a tip-plasty, where we leave the bridge of the nose undisturbed. My plan would be to bring the nostrils and nasal tip into better harmony. My preference is to perform this in a closed "scarless" way, where I deliver the tip cartilages and make changes to their shape. I then "borrow" some cartilage from the nasal septum to support the tip in a lifted position. I hope that helps! As always, an in-person consultation will help you find the best surgeon for you. Wishing you all the best! Dr. Sitapara Prime Facial Plastic Surgery

Answer: Rhinoplasty vs. tip plasty... Based on the photos, you are a great candidate for a tip plasty. If you are happy with the bridge, you can leave it alone. The tip droop can be raised up and the shape refined. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty expert for consultation.

Answer: Rhinoplasty may be considered for elevating a broad droopy nasal tip appearance. Whether or not you would require bony work is difficult to determine based on your photos. As a general rule, most patients do require a full rhinoplasty to gain narrowing, perhaps, in the upper middle and lower thirds of the nose. Thank you for your question. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Answer: Rhinoplasty Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photos, rhinoplasty operation will be a very correct choice for a permanent and definitive solution. I recommend rhinoplasty operation to get rid of this image and for a more elegant nose. It would be better face to face consultation. Best Regards!
