What could be causing redness inside my nose 1 year after rhinoplasty? (photos)

I had a rhinoplasty last year and I still have redness inside my nose. It looks like red horizontal veins with redness in the background. It doesn’t really bother me, but I feel like it contributes to my morning face and nose swellings that goes away after I have a glass water. I’m not sure if I should be worried and I don’t know what causes it. Maybe pet allergy I have and I have 3 cats? I’ve been told to take antibiotics for 7 days but I have gastritis,it’s painful for me..any suggestions?tnx

As far as I can see from your photos you may have some kind of skin infection, for which I recommend that you consult your surgeon or an ent doctor immediately.

Your cats may be to blame. Cats are the most highly allergenic indoor animals, and people who have a runny nose due to allergy will have a propensity for internal nasal redness. If some of the lower red capillaries are bothersome, light electrocautery or intense pulsed light treatments may be suitable for minimizing them. Thank you for your question. Sincerely, Dr. Joseph
