Getting my BA in 8 days!! I'm 96 pounds .23 . And ACup? I'll be getting 240cc saline Will that be to big???? I'm scared there gnna look like water balloons since I don't have much cleavage. Any suggestions???? So nervous / excited

Even though you are petite, I think that 240 cc's is a very modest size.  You will probably be a B cup following the surgery.  If that is your goal, then the size is appropriate.

Hello,You should consider either silicone gel implants or highly cohesive silicone gel implants to minimize the risk of rippling and to give you a 'natural' result.  Saline implants ripple the most, expand and thin the skin the most, and are likely to look like water balloons because that's what they are. As for size, only a physical exam will determine the ideal size your your body tissues, known as biodimensional planning.Best of luck!

So much depends on your exam, therefore it is going to be very difficult to give you a proper answer.  Recommendation would be to make sure you have had a complete exam with measurements and sizing in the office.  That would be a good start.Given your body description, saline implants are probably not the best choice for someone who is very thin and has minimal breast tissue.  Silicone would likely be a better option as it will have less palpability and visibility.Congrats on your upcoming surgery, make sure you have explored all your options.Good luck.

Size is a critical question for many women who choose breast augmentation. There is an ideal shoe size for your foot. Too small and your foot will be crammed and too large and your foot will not fill the shoe. The same thing is true with breasts: too large and it will look round and fake; too small and it will be loose and empty on the top.  The common denominator to the most beautiful breasts is that they were sized objectively on the basis of measurements. A good way to determine if this size implant is right for you is to fill a balloon or a bag with 240 ml of rice. Then place this in a non-padded bra to see if you like the size. The surgeon will usually also be able to see how the size looks during the surgery. It's key to work with a board certified surgeon that you trust! Best of luck and congratulations!

In order to make an accurate size recommendation, I would need to assess
 your chest wall and breast mound measurements and characteristics.  
Unfortunately, there is not a general rule of thumb or objective 
criteria to implant selection.
	Your plastic surgeon will perform several measurements of your chest 
wall and breast anatomy and determine a range of implants that both fit 
your chest wall and reach your desired goals.
	The next step is to try on this range of implants in the office with 
your doctor.  The key to this success is showing your surgeon the body 
proportion you desire with a bra sizer and allowing your surgeon to 
guide you to the right implant.  It will be much easier to communicate 
in implant cc's than cup size when determining the appropriate implant 
for you.

I recommend that you have a discussion with your surgeon to discuss any concerns you may have regarding size. Being as tiny as you are, you likely have real thin skin. IMHO you should explore the option of silicone gel as with saline the chance for palpable/visible rippling is high. Good luck!

My main focus during breast augmentation consults is helping patients articulate their individuals goals. Thank you for the question. Unfortunately, online consultants will not be able to provide you with specific enough advice to be truly helpful. Ultimately, careful communication of your goals (in my practice I prefer the use of goal pictures, direct examination/communication in front of a full-length mirror, and computer imaging) will be critical.  Given that your surgery is coming up soon, I would suggest that you spend additional time communicating your goals, concerns, questions directly with your plastic surgeon, preferably prior to the date of surgery.

Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is:

1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work.
2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. 
In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. For example, I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "C cup” or "water balloons" etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful.
Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on him who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. Again, the use of computer imaging has been very helpful during the communication process, one in our practice.
3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery, after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers.
