If your procedure was performed using an absorbable filler like Hyaluronic acid it is possible to dissolve the filler with hyaluronidase. I would suggest that you go back to your injector to have it accessed if you are unhappy with the results. Dear Br1gal,if you have used hyaluronic acid based fillers, then the effects of your fillers should start wearing off soon. I'm not sure what filler you had, but yes if necessary, HA fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. It may take a series of treatments. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

I certainly understand your concern. If the filler you had done is hyaluronic acid, you can have it dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. Always seek an expert in facial aesthetics, such as a board-certified dermatologist, to maximize results while minimizing side effects.

It will depend on the type of filler that was used. Hyaluronic Acid fillers (Restylane, Juvederm, Volbella) last about a year and can be removed with injections of Hyaluronidase which turns them into water. Thank you for your question! The filler does seem to be outside your lip. This is easily dissolved with hyluronidase as long as a hyluronic acid filler was used to plump your lips.

If the filler that was injected was made of a material called Hyaluronic Acid then it can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase (Vitrase). This enzyme is injected and the material would dissolve instantly. If the material is silicon based or another type of permanent filler the solution is much more complex and may require surgery.

I understand your concern. Fillers are used to restore lost volume in and
enhance the appearance of the face. It is difficult to make an assessment without a before photograph for comparison. However most patients enjoy the results of their filler in the lips for 6-12 months. At that time the appearance is back to baseline. Hyaluronic acid fillers such as those in the Juvederm family (Juvederm Ultra, Juvederm Ultra Plus, Volbella, Vollure, and Voluma), Restylane family, and Belotero can be dissolved. The products can be dissolved as early as immediately after injection (reserved for rare complications) to years after the treatment. In some cases small particles of fillers can remain for prolonged periods, which can be dissolved at a later time if the filler was a hyaluronic acid product. Please

Thank you for your question and picture. Lips augmentation with dermal fillers can last up to one year. Fillers slowly get absorb and process over time after the injections. If filler is still present, hyaluronidase can be used to dissolve the filler or wait and be patient until it completely goes away with time. I hope this help. All the best, Dr. Michon
