Blessed with deep under eye ditches thanks to genetics. Was always self conscious of them in photos since I was 12-13. Researched a lot about how less invasive they are and hardly any pain. A friend recommended Dr. Matthew Epstein. His nurse is very friendly and welcoming. He is very conscious of not over loading with fillers and giving that unnatural looking result. Overall great experience. I am going in for the rest of my filler. I found it interesting that they save your product. Not sure if other places do this. But I was more comfortable with small injections for my very first procedure. It wasn’t painful at all. I also got laughing gas to calm the nerves. I have had a headache since my appointment which i hear could be a side effect of laughing gas. But it was worth it. I am not a fan of needles.

Green Lake Oral and Facial Surgery is a great place. Dr. Epstein and his staff are wonderful. Everyone on the team is very knowledgeable, professional, caring, friendly, and thorough. As soon as you arrive the front desk is always very helpful and make you feel very welcome. Moreover, Dr. Epstein is terrific and provides excellent results. I felt well taken care of at this practice and I highly recommend them.

I needed orthognathic surgery to correct an underbite.

Pros:
-Permanent solution to bite issues!
-Lost weight due to liquid diet during recovery.
-Better looking profile (side view) of face, more proportional.

Cons:
-Week 1 of recovery was rough (literally only able to sleep and watch tv) but I was able to function normally by the end of week 2.
-Needed ~1 year of braces before the surgery could be done.
-Insurance may or may not cover this type of surgery, even if recommended for a clinical, medical reason.
