I fractured my upper right lateral nose cartilage about 8 years ago. It has left me with a dent on that side of my nose that I would like fixed. Is it possible to still have the cartilage reattached to the nasal bone and how? Is this cheaper than having a full rhinoplasty? Are there a lot of complications with this surgery? Thank you!

Answer: Nasal cartilage repair? It can be repaired with cartilage. We need to see close up photos of your nose. After an examination and discussion it will be possible to give you a cost of this surgery. Otherwise we would only be guessing. See a very experienced rhinoplasty specialist for this surgery.

Answer: Reattaching nasal cartilages after trauma Nasal trauma can cause fractures of the nasal bone and detachment of the upper cartilages leading to a dent that can be seen. Rhinoplasty surgery can help to improve the shape and size of the nose as well as nasal breathing. Use of nasal cartilages from the septum or rib can help in this scenario.
