I'm getting a breast augmentation with 560cc silicone implants. Will that be a good size for me?

One of the decisions that seems to challenge women the most about breast implants is, “How big should I go?” Think about the profile you want to see in the mirror in a few weeks, and bring all your ideas with you to your consultation. Your surgeon is the perfect person to help you decide this as he/she can guide you towards thebest size for you based on measurements and your desires.
Your body and its attributes will influence what size breasts you choose. Many small-framed women decide to go no bigger than a C cup size to look natural. Skin tone is also a factor. Patients with very tight skin may not find large implants fit very well. Our doctors are experienced in evaluating body and skin types and will help you understand how these factors may come into play for you. Be completely open with your surgeon. After all, you’ve made the decision to have augmentation; you should have the breasts you want to have.

Thank you for your question. A lot of different factors are considered when choosing a breast implant size. Your chest wall measurements, aesthetic goals, current breast size and more,.. all play a role in which implants will give you the best results. Although 560cc are fairly large implants based on your measurements, without an in-person consultation, it's impossible to say with certainty if they're right for you. Only a board-certified plastic surgeon who has thoroughly examined your breasts and dimensions can determine what size is appropriate.
I recommend that you have a full and frank discussion with your board-certified plastic surgeon about your goals. Photos of your desired outcome are often helpful and a variety of techniques such as 3D imaging and bra sizers can give you a better idea of what to expect after surgery. This will also guide your surgeon in selecting an implant size that will give you the look you want while minimizing the risk of complications or undesired results. It sounds like you may have already consulted with your surgeon and decided on a size, in which case they should be able to provide more detailed information regarding the outcome of your procedure. Without photos or measurements its hard to determine if that size would be suitable or not for you . 560cc's can look completely different on each person, I would recommend you going through with an in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in this procedure and who can take measurements and go over the different implants and sizes used.

560ml is a relatively large implant. Without photos or measurements, its difficult to determine if it would be too large. The best way to know if you'll be happy with the implants, is to try on sizers during and consultation and see what you like. In addition, you'll be able to feel the weight of the implants and determine whether you're comfortable with that as well.Best wishes,Dr. Jan

You need a formal evaluation by a licensed plastic surgeon and expert in breast augmentations to determine what is best for you and your goals.
Proper breast enlargement is not a "cookie-cutter" procedure where the same technique is applied to every patient. Every woman who comes to my practice has unique needs and different goals for her breast augmentation. As a board-certified plastic surgeon, I always listen carefully to each woman's concerns and thoroughly discuss the key points of the procedure. I also take into account their overall height and weight, the size and shape of the underlying chest and ribcage, the tightness and elasticity of the skin, and the amount of natural breast tissue. Prior to the procedure, we discuss and make decisions regarding location of the incision, whether to place the implant under or over the chest muscle, and what type of implant to use (I offer multiple types of silicone gel breast implants, as well as saline implants).

A consultation with an ABPS board certified plastic surgeon will be able to guide you to the correct size implant for your measurements and desires.  Measurements of the chest wall and breast imprint width as well as knowledge of all breast implant sizes and profiles should make this process easy. Taller women can usually tolerate larger implants. 
Try on a profile bra with 560 cc silicone sizers under a tailored blouse, tight sweater, swimsuit, workout clothes, and other garments you typically wear so that you have the best idea of whether the garments fit as desired with the implant selected. Then compare how you look and feel with larger or smaller silicone sizers.  Implants of 600cc and higher will create more tissue thinning over time, have more potential for rippling, more potential for bottoming out, greater likelihood of breast lift revisions, etc

The best size for you cannot be determined just by the information you have given. It would take a fairly long discussion with your plastic surgeon to figure out exactly what look you are expecting. This can be done using sizers or computer animations.

At size 36 A, each 200 cc of implant corresponds to 1 cup size change.  560 cc implants would take you up 2 ½ cup sizes to a size D.  560 cc implants weigh over 1 lb each, will not be able to fit underneath your muscle, your breasts will descend inferior and lateral requiring a revision.  These implants are too big for you.  Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

I do not see any attached photos or additional information pertaining to your proposed surgery. 
The best and safest advice i can give is that implant selection is done based on a number of considerations. To effectively inform you about whether 560CC is a good size for you most surgeons needs to know your anatomical measurements pertaining to your breasts and also your soft tissue quality. 
Based on these measurements and assessment a suggestion is made by the PS. If you were seen by a board certified PS then I am certain all this was done and to have no fear.

Hello and thank you for your question.  The best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation.  It would be helpful to view pictures of your breasts and to know your individual breast measurements in order to determine if 560cc is an appropriate size for you.  The size, profile, and shape of the implant is based on your desired breast size/shape, your chest wall measurements, and soft tissue quality.  This decision should be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you and your surgeon.   Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.
